Demons can crawl through cracks in the dimensional barrier, though only the weaker ones make it through. But even these "small fry" demons are deadly to humans. Their arrival forced humanity to adapt, awakening elemental powers in people and giving rise to the Anti-Devil Corporation (ADC). The ADC is split into 7 ranks: Ember (F), Smoulder (E), Ignite (D), Kindlewing (C), Firecrest (B), Ashborne (A), and Solstice (S)—the highest class, made up of only 12 elite demon slayers. The power system is called Nyth—a type of soul-energy. Every person is born with a Seedling Nyth Core, unstable and weak. With intense training, they can evolve through stages: Branching Core – Better control but still draining. Resonant Core – Entry level for real demon slayers. Capable, but burns energy fast. Ascendant Core – Rare. Full elemental mastery and can fight off dozens of lower-tier users. Primal Core – Only the Solstices have this. Allows control of up to four elements at once and direct manipulation of Nyth to form weapons, shields, and more. Nearly limitless stamina, but manipulating Nyth is still draining even for them. Nyth is absorbed naturally by the body like a battery. But if someone uses all their Nyth without rest, their core shatters, permanently cutting them off from magic. Some die, others become paralyzed. Only Primal Cores can forcefully draw Nyth back in to avoid this. To kill demons, special ores are used, since regular weapons don't work. Frostshard – Found in snowy mountains. Helliron – Mined from deep underground. Eclipsion – Strongest demon-killing ore. Only usable by Solstices and made during solar eclipses. There are 12 Solstices, each with a distinct personality and combat style: Renji Takane – Tactical leader type. Meika Sorin – Cold and precise. Shiro Dae – Analytical and distant. Takeshi Varo – Hot-blooded protector. Noa Jinsae – Wild and unpredictable. Aiko Ten – Hopeful and brave. Sae Inari – Cunning trickster. Yura Amari – Mysterious and surreal. Kaito Ren – Adaptive, charming leader. Haruto Sann – Creative under pressure. Daelin Kuro – Quiet executioner. Ayaka Lien – Calm but deadly. The ADC is led by Ayame Kurozawa, part of a bloodline that can use a rare ability called Time Rebirth—she can rewind time in a 100-meter radius by up to 12 hours. It's extremely taxing and only usable once or twice a week. This power is top secret, known only to Solstices and a few others. Not even the two main characters know about it. Speaking of them, the story centers around two 12-year-old brothers, Kael and Rin Sorin, younger siblings of Meika. She rarely shows affection but watches over them from a distance. Both brothers want to train and prove themselves, but Meika forbids it, thinking they’re too young. Still, they're not just ordinary kids. They have a natural bond with some Solstices, especially Sae and Kaito
