Chapter 235 - A Very Productive Day

"Damn... It feels like we just got here too." I said while standing on the docks, watching as people filed onto the ferry that was preparing to leave for Cinnabar island.

"Perhaps that's because you spent two of the three days we were here delving into a freezing cavern while we all got tans and enjoyed ourselves?" Misty pointed out, the ginger sporting an uncharacteristic tan.

"Yeah... Probably..." I groaned while casting one last look over the island. The amazing beaches, hot babes, awesome cuisine, sexy bitches, colorful reefs, horny honeys, abundance of pokemon, and bodacious beauties.

Yeah, I'll definitely miss this place.

"Do anything you need to now. We cast off in just a few minutes." Captain Ann said as she passed me, a certain gleam in her eyes as she looked at me.

Then again, maybe the boat won't be too bad?

Gathered to see us off was, of course, Lorelei, the servants who worked for her, and several of the people we had gotten to know during our stay. But I also couldn't help but notice that Nemona was nowhere to be seen.

"If you ever need our assistance Ace, just call us and I'll be there as soon as possible." Lorelei said to me as we prepared to leave.

"Of course. And if you want, you can get ahold of Giana and see about coordinating with Arceus Aegis in the future. I have a feeling that we'll need all the help we can get soon enough." I told her, and Lorelei nodded in affirmation.

"FIVE MINUTE WARNING!" A crew member of the ferry yelled out suddenly, urging everyone who was boarding the ferry to do so.

"WAIT!"

I looked up to see none other than Nemona running towards us as fast as possible.

"Almost thought you weren't going to make it." I told her with a smirk as she ran up to me, before she pulled something out of her pocket.

"Do you know what this is? Nemona asked as she flashed me a badge. Unlike a normal Gym Badge though, this one had the word CHAMPION engraved on it.

"A Champion Badge?" I asked, not knowing where she was going with this.

"Yes. This badge identifies me as a Champion." Nemona said, before she promptly chucked out into the waves.

"I just quit."

"..."

"By 'quit', you mean...?"

"I mean I quit being a Champion." Nemona stated plainly.

"I just got off the phone with La Primera, in Pladea. I told her that I quit being a Champion, and now I have no interest in taking her place when she retires." Nemona explained, and my eyes widened slightly.

"Nemona..."

"I was tired of it Ace!" She declared, before turning to look out over the ocean.

"I love battling more than anything! Especially against strong opponents! But how can I do that if I'm always being restricted by my title as a Champion? How can my team or I grow stronger if we can't battle against those on the same level of us? So I quit! And now I plan to travel the world and find all of the powerful trainers that are out there! And whenever I get the chance, I'm also going to challenge YOU as well!"

I just smiled wryly as Nemona laid out her plans to travel and find powerful opponents to battle against, with myself being at the forefront.

"Go and get them." I said, giving her ass an encouraging smack as I did so. "Just remember, THIS belongs to me."

"Well of course." Nemona said as if it were obvious.

*DOOOOOOOOOOON!*

A horn sounded from the ferry, prompting me to turn towards it and start walking before they left.

"Until next time then." I called back to Nemona, waving to her and Lorelei as I boarded the ferry.

"And we'll battle when we see each other again!" Nemona called back as she waved excitedly.

"Naturally." I said, before the ferry began to pull away from the docks, taking us to Cinnabar island.

...

"You were out there for an HOUR. How did your teeth get this bad?"

"Gagaagra..."

"Well talking with your mouth full certainly isn't helping things."

"..."

Thankfully, Gyarados didn't try to say anything else to that comment, which only helped me as I worked to clean the gunk out from between her teeth while the other two watched from nearby.

Currently I had the afternoon sun beating down on me as I worked, wearing nothing but a pair of swim trunks, while knealing atop Blastoise's shell as he kept pace with the ferry. I had all three of my Gyarados out for some exercise, as well as both of my Milotic, Floatzel, and Aerodactyl as he he glided overhead.

"Wait... What's that?" I asked, mostly to myself, as I noticed something moving way back in the back of her mouth, wedged between a couple of her teeth.

"Don't you dare bite down." I told Gyarados seriously as I literally leaned INTO her mouth, and worked to pry the moving thing out from between her teeth.

"Just a bit more.... And THERE!" I exclaimed as the object came loose, and immediately began moving around as I backed out of her mouth.

"Corsola core!" Shouted the obviously terrified Corsola, which had been wedged between Gyarados's teeth.

It was covered in grime, and several of the rocky spines had been snapped off, not injuring the little pokemon, but still scaring it to hell and back.

"Really? A Corsola?" I asked Gyarados with undisguised exasperation, and she at least had the awareness to try and act bashful about her choice of meal.

"You're ok now. I'll take care of you." I told the Corsola in a soothing voice, channeling calming aura towards it as well as I scrubbed the gunk of off it, rinsed it off, and gave it a pokeblock as an apology for the trouble.

"There you go."

"Corsola!" It cried as soon as I set it in the water, before shooting off like an aquatic bullet

I watched it go before turning to look at Gyarados, who looked away shamefully.

"that's right, you SHOULD be ashamed." I told her without mercy. "You're lucky Corsola can regrow their spines overnight." I added.

With that done, I then set to the task of giving her teeth a basic cleaning since it was due anyways, before doing the same for my other two Gyarados as well. I then gave them all a pokeblock treat for their good behavoir, even if the first female didn't necessarily deserve one.

"Floatzel float~!" Floatzel trilled happily as he surfaced nearby, a Shellder clutched in his paws as he happily tore at it to eat the insides.

"You're next." I told him, making Floatzel pause slightly as he turned to look at me with undisguised horror.

"Don't look at me like that. Its not my fault you hate having your teeth brushed." I told him, and I felt the urge to dive back down to escape surge within him.

Before I could warn him against doing, as he HAD to come back eventually, I noticed Aerodactyl swoop down before scooping something up from the water. Something that had SEVERAL appendages that dangled from his mouth.

"Don't tell me..." I groaned as I suspected what it was he just caught, right as he eargerly bit into it.

"And it was..." I groaned once more, as Aerodactyl immediately spasmed and dropped what he had caught, before plummeting limply into the sea.

"Whoever saves him gets an extra pokeblock." I told my Gyarados, all of which immediately shot off to try and rescue Aerodactyl before he drowned.

"Take me back to the ship?" I asked Blastoise, who immediately obliged as he changed course and sped up.

"What happened?" Joy asked as soon as my feet hit the deck.

"Aerodactyl caught a Tentacruel, bit into it, and probably got a mouthful of poison for it." I explained, even as she already pulled several bottles of Antidote and medicine out to treat him.

"Why'd he do that?" Dawn asked worriedly as she joined us.

"I don't know. I told him to stick with the red Magikarp until he was able to learn more about what was ok to eat and what wasn't." I told her as we waited, which wasn't long as all of my Gyarados suddenly surfaced while supporting Aerodactyl with their heads.

"Good job." I said while tossing all three of them a pokeblock after they set him down on the deck, where Joy hurried to start treating Aerodactyl as he started foaming at the mouth.

"He must have swallowed a lot of poison... We need to pump his stomach!" She declared with the confidence she always seemed to gain when treating her patients.

"Let's try THIS!" I stated, punching his stomach as hard as I could as I did so.

"BLEGH!"

Aerodactyl immediately vomited up the poison and seawater he swallowed, spilling it all over the deck of the ship in a foul smelling mess. A mess that Joy ignored as she started to work, first giving Aerodactyl some Antidote to counter the poison still in his system, and then some medicine to heal the damage it had done.

"Come on up here Floatzel. We need you to use Water Gun." I called out to the Sea Weasel, who immediately jumped up onto the deck and started washing away the disgusting smelling poison.

Once the deck was cleared, the rest of the girls approached Aerodactyl as they watched over him worriedly.

"Think he'll be alright?" May asked.

"He should with Joy treating him." I answered without too much worry, after all, I doubt the poison would have killed him even without treatment. He would have been severely sick for a while, but he wouldn't have died.

Falling into the ocean on the other hand...

I shook the thought from my head as I approached his, taking it into my lap as I sat down and held him, channeling my aura into him as I did so to help.

"Dact...?" He eventually groaned when he started waking up.

"Look who's back." I said with a smirk, and the alpha Aerodactyl looked away from me in embarassment as he struggled to return to his feet.

"So what happened?" I asked him. "I thought I told you to only eat the red Magikarp?"

"Dactyl! Aerodactyl dactyl dact!"

"..."

"Oh..." I answered, not having expected his indignant answer.

"What did he say?" Misty asked me slyly.

"Basically that he DID try to eat the red things, except this wasn't one of the Magikarp." Lucario translated for me.

"The Tentacruel was probably flashing the red lights, and he thought it was a Magikarp..." I added, and the girls all groaned in realization.

"Well, at least he was quickly saved." Misty said as she tried to look on the bright side, before promptly backing away as my Gyarados approached to get a better look.

"He should be ok with some rest." Joy added as she finished giving Aerodactyl medicine.

"Alright then. Go ahead and return for now." I said, recalling Aerodactyl into his pokeball for just that.

Technically he was supposed to be training for when we fly to One island in a couple days, since I still couldn't fly on Pidgeot for another week or so. After all, Aerodactyl had only lived in the limited spaces underground until a week ago, so he needed the experience of flying for long distances while carrying passengers.

Thankfully his species were basically built for just that with their large wings, designed specifically for gliding long distances. It was just a matter of training them after a lifetime of neglect.

After recalling Aerodactyl I resumed my previous work of cleaning my pokemon's teeth after their hunting session, a job that made me consider asking the professor if he knew a pokeblock recipe to fix bad breath...

After I finished with them I moved on to the rest of my present pokemon, before recalling them all as well to swap them out for other pokemon.

"Chika!"

"Cyndaquil?"

"Totototototodile~!"

"Oshawott~!"

"Froooo..."

"Popo!"

"Sobble!"

The seven pokemon that I swapped the others out for all greeted me as they appeared, the Johto starter trio since I was going to be heading there soon, and then the other water starters since we were on a boat, so it was a good chance for more training for them.

Naturally, Sobble inched closer to Froakie as soon as they appeared, which she usually did ever since I first had them battle together. The only problem was, Sobble would lose all confidence to battle if Froakie was nowhere nearby...

"If you're going to do some training, then count us in!" Misty declared as she sent out several of her new pokemon as well, Slowbro, Cloyster, Lotad, Wingull, Wooper, Azurill and Shellos.

"Don't forget us~!" Dawn declared, as she sent out her own pokemon.

"And us~!" May added.

"Shall we join in Yamper?" Chloe asked her little Puppy pokemon.

"Yamp!" It barked back, it's little tail wagging excitedly back and forth.

With Joy watching over us in case anyone got hurt, the five of us made use of the small battle platform on the back of the ferry as we began training our pokemon in ernest. By battling of course.

Of course, the best part of the training was when Chikorita evolved into Bayleef after defeating a couple of Misty's pokemon, and then again when Froakie evolved into Frogadier right as we were about to call it quits for the night. I guess all those challenges to my other pokemon finally paid off.

On top of the two of them, Misty's Wingull also managed to evolve into Pelipper, as well as Dawn's Venonat into Venomoth. Overall, it had been a VERY productive day as Aerodactyl was also able to continue his training after resting for a bit, and we all went to bed feeling pretty good.

Well, the sex beforehand didn't hurt either.
