I woke up, lying on a bed in a room I didn't recognize.
"Where… am I?" I muttered to myself, slowly sitting up.
The room was dim, lit only by flickering candles that cast dancing shadows on the stone walls. Suddenly, a voice echoed—familiar, yet chilling.
"You're in my domain," it said.
I turned quickly toward the sound, and to my surprise, I saw a little girl standing in the middle of the room. She looked no older than ten, with pale skin, glowing violet eyes, and long, flowing black hair that shimmered like the night sky.
"Who are you?" I asked warily.
"I'm the one who will fulfill your desire," she said calmly.
"Yeah, okay—but what's your name? And why did you bring me here?"
She tilted her head, a slight smile playing on her lips.
"My name is Luna, Queen of Darkness. And from now on, I will be your master."
"Master…?" I echoed. "So this is one of those 'do what I say and I'll give you what you want' deals?"
"That is correct, my dear. You will follow every command I give—without question," she replied smoothly.
I took a breath, trying to steady my thoughts. "Fine. I'll do what you ask… as long as you help me get my family back."
Luna's smile widened. "Very good. Then listen carefully. Your task is simple: help me conquer this land and eliminate any who stand in my way."
I blinked. "Wait, are you asking me to kill people?"
"If you refuse," she said, "I'll simply send you back to your world—without fulfilling your wish."
"No—please! I'll do it," I said quickly. "I'll follow your orders."
"Excellent." She reached out and took my hand.
Her palm was cold, and as she began chanting in an unfamiliar tongue, a surge of power flooded through me. My body pulsed with strength I'd never known before.
"You now possess knowledge of this world," Luna said. "You can wield all elemental magics, and I've enhanced your physical capabilities. Consider it a... cheat code."
"A cheat code, huh…?" I murmured. "This feels insane. I can feel the energy coursing through me…"
"Now then, it's time for a test," she declared. "Let's see how well you handle your new power. You'll be battling an Orc Champion."
"What?! That's no basic tutorial monster!" I protested.
"If you want to survive in this world—and see your family again—you'll have to prove yourself," she said with a chuckle.
She raised her hand and chanted another incantation. In a flash of light, the room disappeared. When my vision cleared, I found myself standing in a massive coliseum.
"Welcome to your practice match," Luna said from above.
A large iron gate creaked open across the arena.
"WRAAAAAAH!!"
The ground shook as the Orc Champion charged in, twice my size and twice as angry.
I swallowed hard.
"Holy crap… this is nothing like the games… I'm so dead
