Early the next day, Wu Yu pleasantly woke up to the feeling of two soft pillows enveloping his right arm.
"So you're finally awake little Yu, did you have good dreams?" beside him, a beautiful blonde laid dangerously close to him
Wu Yu was a little dazed from just waking up and looked around the small room, it seems Tang San had already woken up and left.
He then looked to the right of him and thought, 'but why is sister Yu in here?'
"Big sis Yu? What are you doing in my room?" Wu Yu asked as he sat up while rubbing his eyes.
Qing Guanyu also got up, she then wrapped her arms around Wu Yu's neck and whispered into Wu Yu's ear, "why else? I told you yesterday, I'm your girlfriend."
Wu Yu slightly trembled as her hot breath made contact with his ear but immediately regained his composure.
For a while the two stayed silent in the room with Wu Yu still at Qing Guanyu's mercy. It wasn't like an akward silence but more of a peaceful, serene silence.
This went on for a good 4 to 5 minutes before Wu Yu finally broke out of the comfortable feeling. He unwrapped Qing Guanyu's arms from his neck and said, "alright, we should get going..."
Wu Yu wanted to say something else but decided to keep it to himself, at least for now. He quickly got dressed then walked out the door, leaving Qing Guanyu alone on the bed.
When Wu Yu finally left, she suddenly fell back onto the bed as a scarlet red started to take over her face.
Putting her hand next to her rapidly beating heart, she thought to herself, 'oh no, what if he felt my heart beating?'
She started to roll around in the bed while hiding her face with her hands. After a little bit of that, she took a nearby pillow and started to scream into it as if it were her worst enemy.
Down in the hotels main lobby, the rest of the crew were hanging out near the exit where they were passing time, by chatting with each other.
The twins were the first to notice him and exclaimed, "brother Yu! you're awake, where's big sis Yu?"
Wu Yu walked over and said, "she'll be down in a moment..." as he said that he remembered the earlier scene but quickly shook it off.
The others found his reaction a little strange but didn't care enough to ask so they went back to their previous discussion.
About 3 minutes after Wu Yu showed, Qing Guanyu also finally came down and greeted everyone with a smile before they all headed out to eat.
They already found the places with the best dishes the day before so they didn't have to wander the town and just settled for a nearby restaurant with good food.
Shrek wasn't too far from where they were at now, maybe a good hour walk or so. Sadly for two in the group, they didn't have it as easy as the rest of the group.
In the middle of their journey there, Xiao Wu got lazy and wanted Tang San to carry her the rest of the way causing Wu Yu to laugh the hardest at Tang San's misfortune.
Unfortunately for him, karma is a bitch and bit him right in the ass when Qing Guanyu also asked him to carry her on his back.
He thought he could avoid such a fate and have Wu Ji carry her but for some reason she was dead set on him carrying her like how Tang San was carrying Xiao Wu.
He profusely rejected such a request but when she whispered something into his ear that only he could hear, he immediately gave in and carried her on his back.
Qing Guanyu and Xiao Wu smiled brightly as they gave each other the victory hand sign while the two boys bitterly smiled at each other.
The rest of the journey to Shrek was smooth and unimpeded so they had a rather fun and happy journey.
Arriving in the small village, the first thing their group noticed was the gathering of people up ahead.
"What's happening over there?" Xiao Wu was the first to take notice and immediately jumped off Tang San's back before dragging him along towards the line of people.
Following closely behind the two, the group of seven took a peek towards the front where a middle aged man with greenish yellow hair was arguing with village mob 1.
They were arguing over entrance fees or something, the group of seven couldn't hear clearly as many village mobs were also yelling out their qualms with the man.
When the argument started to get a little too heated up, the man suddenly exclaimed with annoyance, "Mu Bai, handle it."
A young man that the group of 7 knew all too well jumped down from a tree then revealed his 2 yellow rings and 1 purple ring before putting up a threatening look.
The mob immediately got scarred and hurriedly scurried away from the the registration booth along with a few other mobs following closely behind.
Seeing as the line was now pretty much clear, the group of 7 went up to the front and stood before the middle aged man and young master.
Tang San spoke up, "Excuse us, we would like to register." but Wu Yu quickly cut in before pulling in his group of 5 and said, "we're just here to see what the school has to offer."
While he said this, he looked over at Dai Mubai and gave him a cheeky smirk before turning back to the middle aged man.
"So... what does this school have to offer?" Wu Yu asked seriously.
The middle aged man looked a little amused then answered with, "nothing, we take in only monsters then turn them into even bigger monsters."
Wu Yu seemed to have gotten a little intrigued then asked, "really? and how are you going to achieve that?"
Looking at Wu Yu in silence for a good while, the man suddenly laughed and answered, "how else would we achieve it? we have teachers who can teach you."
"I'm not asking that, I'm asking what this school can help me with, material and power wise? right now I only see downsides to joining." Wu Yu said as he played with the gold coins in his hands.
The man's face twitched as he heard what Wu Yu was saying and replied, "who's to say you could even pass the entrance exam anyway?"
Wu Yu smiled then pointed at Dai Mubai and said mockingly, "he can vouch for my abilities."
The man was surprised when Wu Yu said that and looked over at Dai Mubai only to see him with his head hanging low while clenching his fists.
He looked back at Wu Yu then furrowed his brows, he was a little unconvinced and retorted, "just because you beat him dosn't mean you've met all our requirements."
"To join Shrek, you must be 12 or under and be a spirit master rank 20 and over." the man stated the requirements for them to join.
Once Wu Yu heard the under 12 part he immediately started to walk away with his group while saying, "good luck junior brother San and junior sister Wu, may we meet again in the future also please tell master I'm sorry..."
The middle aged man sneered as he saw Wu Yu walking away thinking that Wu Yu didn't meet the requirements so he was now running away.
Dai Mubai also looked relieved, knowing that he wouldn't have to deal with Wu Yu in the future while a little part of him also felt relieved that he was more talented than Wu Yu.
Tang San and Xiao Wu watched Wu Yu and the gang walk off while feeling a little sad but just sighed as they looked back at the middle aged man to take the test.
While the man was checking their bone ages he suddenly said, "your friend back there was a little arrogant no? all bark but no bite."
Tang San just bitterly smiled and answered while shaking his head, "actually, my senior brother is a lot more talented than me and met all requirements, he only left because one of our friends didn't meet the requirements."
The man stopped then asked suspiciously, "really? then why didn't you guys go with them?"
Tang San only shook his head and answered, "senior brother has his path and I have mine, we'll both find our own ways of getting stronger..."
After he said all of that, both him and Xiao Wu showed their two spirit rings before announcing their spirit power which greatly surprised the man.
He nodded then let Mu Bai take them into the school to get registered before he looked off into the distance where Wu Yu and his friends left.

"Brother Yu, where are we going now?" the twins asked as they followed closely.
Wu Yu looked at everyone then answered, "great spirit arena in Suotuo city... we'll start there and see where it takes us..."
After saying that, Wu Yu once again started walking away while his four friends looked at each other and smiled before quickly following after him.
On their way towards the city, they realized that if they kept walking, they would never get there so when they walked into a nearby town, they hired a carriage driver to take them there.
The whole journey, Lin Yuhan seemed to have been lost in her thoughts thinking about something while gazing out the window.
No one really took notice as she was usually always like this so there was really nothing out of the ordinary for them.
When they reached heaven dou city, Wu Yu and the gang were amazed by the grand city, this was probably the biggest they've ever seen.
The only one who didn't seem to share the same sentiment was Lin Yuhan as her eyes contained a hint of anger when she entered the city.
She however didn't want to alarm the others and quickly put her feelings aside as she followed the crew towards a nearby stand selling candied apples.
The twins were sweet toothed and so was Qing Guanyu so they enjoyed treats like these a lot.
Wu Yu didn't like sweets so while the four were buying their apples, he went towards a stand that was selling kabobs and bought a good 10 or so skewers.
"Alright, lets go, I think the arena was somewhere over in that area." Wu Yu said as he stuffed his face with kabobs.
The others closely followed behind while chatting with each other about irrelevant stuff and such.
Fortunately the arena really stood out and eclipsed many of the nearby structures so they didn't have a hard time locating it.
When they finally arrived at one of the arenas entrances, Wu Yu walked up to the woman who was registering the combatants with his group.
"Excuse us, we would like to enter as combatants." Wu Yu stated as he finished up his last skewer.
The lady seemed a little surprised but it didn't last any longer than a second before she asked, "have you guys fought in the arena before?"
Wu Yu looked at his group and everyone shrugged, "nope, first time we're competing."
The lady nodded then asked, "which competitions will you guys be entering? there's the individual, double team and lastly is a team team battle.
Wu Yu thought for a bit then said, "for now... Huang Da and Huang Bo will enter the double team competition, while the rest of us enter the individual one..."
"Lastly, we'll all also enter as a five man battle team as well." hearing Wu Yu's plan, they all had no qualms with it and nodded in agreement.
Wu Yu then told the lady what they wanted to do before the lady registered them under their own made up names.
After Wu Yu paid the registration fee, the lady gave them all iron badges and briefed them on the rules of the arena before she told them their match times.
The match order were like so, first was Qing Guanyu, second were the twins, third was Wu Yu and last was Lin Yuhan.
All their matches took place in the morning while their team match was later in the afternoon.
Seeing as their matches were coming up soon, they decided to stay at the arena and watch a few matches while waiting for their turn.
After an hour or so of watching matches, the crew noticed that Qing Guanyu's match was coming up next.
"Next, we have a newcomer, a rookie to the arena, elemental mask tool spirit, Qing Qing!" the announcer exclaimed.
The announcer paused for a bit then continued, "and the one she'll be fighting today is a well known underdog, hellfire demon hound beast spirit, Lin Feng!"
Qing Guanyu stood up with a smile and exclaimed, "well, I'm up, cheer for me!" as she rushed down towards the arena.
Everyone in the group started cheering but Lin Yuhan looked as if she was was about to fall apart at any moment as the name Lin Feng constantly looped in her head.
She didn't know what to do or say as she kept her eyes fixated on the arena to see if the person on stage would coincide with the one she was thinking about.
'Please... let it be you... Lin Feng!'
