Shortly after, the dishes arrived.
"After we finish eating, let's go buy some clothes," Chen Xu said.
Luo Xiyun asked puzzledly, "What clothes?"
"The clothes I wear. You have good taste, help me pick some out," Chen Xu said as he handed her a piece of meat.
She had always controlled her diet, preferring vegetarian food, worried about gaining weight. Chen Xu was concerned she wasn't getting enough nutrients. She didn't look like the type to easily gain weight, a few extra pieces of meat wouldn't make much difference.
"Why buy clothes?" Luo Xiyun was a bit wary. Chen Xu had never been very concerned about his attire. Although he had bought some designer brands in the past, those instances were rather unsatisfactory. His sudden attention to clothing felt amiss.
"In the future, my business will grow bigger, and I'll attend more business events. I need to improve my image, can't have you feeling embarrassed."
Luo Xiyun said, "I think you're just trying to impress young girls."
