Daylight broke, and Luo Xiyun woke from a deep sleep. Just as she was about to stretch lazily, she suddenly felt that something was amiss. Opening her eyes, she saw Chen Xu's face less than ten centimeters from hers, watching her with a gentle gaze.
He smiled and said, "Good morning."
Shocked, she blurted out, "How did you... How did you get in? I distinctly locked the door."
Chen Xu did not answer but instead said, "Guess."
Luo Xiyun sat up and looked towards the door; there were no signs of damage. A door locked from the inside couldn't be opened from the outside, even with a key.
"I came through the wall," Chen Xu said as he looked at her bewildered expression, finding it extremely cute. He smiled and pinched her cheek.
Luo Xiyun swatted his hand away in annoyance. She certainly didn't believe such a story. Seeing him refuse to give a straight answer, she simply got out of bed and went to the bathroom to freshen up.
