"I need to step out for a bit, and since you refuse to return to Cakago, just stay at the Cheney Residence," Sylvan Cheney said indifferently.
"When will you be back? I'll follow you."
"Depends on the situation," he replied.
After finishing, he picked a black coat and put it on.
"It's cooling down outside today; don't go out if it's not necessary," Sylvan cautioned. "I'll buy your plane ticket as soon as possible."
"Oh."
Jasmine's eyes shimmered with broken gloss.
Did he not rush her today because he hadn't bought the plane ticket?
She wouldn't leave, she wouldn't leave without knowing the truth.
Returning to Landon from Cakago wasn't easy; she had sat on the plane for twelve whole hours.
"Come downstairs to eat, don't go back to sleep," Sylvan ordered.
