Chapter 36 - See ya next time space cowboy

After 2 days the slums were filled with houses and looked decent. The trash that was leftover was bagged up and burned by Ishiga. It went from the slums to the hood. Which is progress. Then they had to expand the land so they cleared out some trees and made Librays and places you could train. After all that, Luke wanted to build his school and use the Ideas that were in Jahol and Toyomo's book. Some of the things were out of this world... But It would take a long time. But for right now we are back On the king and he's just arriving home as the year mark was about to hit.

"I'm finally home." The king opened the gate and walked in, then through the front door where all the demon maids were waiting for him on each side of the door. Eddy and Earza stood at the end of them in the middle.

"Welcome back lord Toyomo." All the demons bowed in

"I've been telling you guys this for years but you really don't have to call me lord." The king chuckled and rubbed his head.

"You mind as well save it. They aren't going to do it." Eddy smiled as he shook up with The king.

"How was your trip?" Earza asked.

"It was cool. I met some people and traveled with them. I hope one day you meet them. They are a part of the heavenly demons now."

"Oh really? The must-have been good people if you let them be one of us."

"Yeah. Anyway, the kids should be waking up in an hour. Get some food ready, they'll be hungry. I'm gonna go wash up." The king walked away going upstairs.

After the king's bath, he went down to the cave where the kids were and started counting down.

"13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0"

"AAAAAAHGGG!!" They all woke up yelling bloody murder.

"Hu? ...Are we back?" Carver looked around and saw the King.

"Hello. How was your sleep?" The king grinned.

"The worst sleep I've ever had." Keth was breathing hard trying to make sure they weren't dead.

"I never want to do anything like that ever again." Lizzy wiped her eyes.

"Understandable. Anyway, there is food back at the house, go eat." The king walked away and let them get up.

"Looks like we pulled through," Carver said, walking over to Keth and pulling him up, then pulled Lizzy up.

"I wonder what happened when we were sleeping."

"Guess we have to go find out." Keth walked out of the cave and they followed.

The trees blocked the sun, giving them some shade but they still could barely open their eyes. When they made out to the field Carver sat down.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing Keth, I just want to sit here until my eyes have adjusted to the sun."

"First time in a long time you've had a decent idea." Keth sat down next to him.

"I'm sure Carver has had a lot of good ideas." Lizzy smiled but they could barely see it.

"So how does it feel to be out of there?" The king popped up behind them.

"It feels super nice... So did you actually tell us what the Poison fist was back then?" Lizzy asked.

"I probably forgot. Poison fist is the ability to be immune to most poison, And if your blood touches something alive, it will burn through their skin and if it enters the bloodstream it could be very deadly. The only cure for it is your Iracuj. Push some of it into the person and it should heal them."

"So we got toxic blood now? Sweet. So you got the same blood right?" Carver asked.

"Yeah, but mine was easier to get. I drank the blood of a demon. But that's a story for another time." The king healed them and adjusted their eyes quickly.

"Now go inside and eat and wash up. When you're all done come back out here. For your final stage of training." The king sat down and closed his eyes as they stood up and open theirs.

"Final stage!? Finally!" Carver through his hands into the air and smiled.

"I'm ready." Keth looked determined.

"I am too!" Lizzy did as well.

They all walked away as the king just sat silently with his eyes clothes. When they came back the king didn't move. Not even an inch. With his eyes still closed he said "Are yall ready?"

"Hell yeah! Let's do this!" Caver spoke for everybody when he said that.

"Alright then." The king put a gold glowing barrier up.

"This trying should be easy after what you just went through for the fear part. But the being overwhelmed part is going to be hard. I've taught you all how to use Kin a little. This will strengthen your Kin. So sit down and get ready. I'm going to start off slow." They all sat in a corner of the cube barrier and closed their eyes.

The king started releasing some of his power and the room literally got heavier. The Gravity had increased by 2 times. They had to spread Iracuj through their bodies and focus on using Kin to not be overwhelmed. At this point, they were completely unaffected but it would not remain that way. After 3 weeks the gravity increased to the amount of the sun. Then the king would drop the gravity back down so their Kin could replenish and grow stronger, that way he could keep increasing the gravity. After 1 week it increased by 1.4 times. 10 weeks went by and the king lowered the gravity back down to the sun level.

"Alright everybody should be able to walk around with no problem." The king stood up and stretched.

"That took a long time. But my body feels so light now!" Carver jumped around and punched at super high speeds.

"Nice job everyone. You all did well." The king got rid of the barrier.

"I'll be back in a little. Go see what's for dinner." The king waved goodbye then teleported away.

"That man is always on the move," Keth said as they walked away.

Meanwhile in the king's realm with the huge tree.

The king sat with his back against the tree and was out of breath.

"L-looks like teleportation took a bigger toll on my body than I thought..." The king spits out blood then looks up to the sky.

"I look like a bitch right now the way I'm bleeding." The king chuckled a little.

The king reached into his bag and pulled out the book that he found at slums cave.

"Your power is great...But I can understand you. It was probably best to keep that a secret." The king smiled as he looked at the book.

"...How long do you plan to keep hiding as if I don't know you're there." The king glanced over to the side and saw a man sitting next to him. Dark black hair and with eyes that glowed.

"You knew that I was watching the whole time, didn't you?" The man asked.

"Yeah, Ever since I met Stagnum I knew."

"I guess I should finally introduce myself then. My name is Concept. Father of all concepts on every dimension." Concept grinned.

"The 1-A god of Concept...This book isn't yours right?"

"You are correct. That book belongs to Faith. My sister. The reason I have been watching over Stagnum and his friends is that, just like you, they do not follow faith. They move unknown to the gods and because of that, they find them dangerous. But the only threat I truly see...Is you." Concept glanced over at the king.

"Is it because I am aware that I am not bound by the gods?"

"Yes, You are unpredictable. You proved it back in the tomb of heaven when you suddenly decided to yell at the top of your lungs. The purpose of why you did that...Was it to let the gods know that you are unbounded?"

"...I guess you'll never know." The king smiled in a way to tease him.

"...Fine if you won't tell then you don't have to. Not like I could force you to anyway. Just know. The titans and the dragons aren't as powerful as they once were. Some gods are even stronger than them now...But I know you have something up your sleeve. I just don't know what."

"You give me too much credit. But I guess I did outsmart you in every way possible. Even now, you're being outsmarted without even knowing it." The king smiled cockily.

"I know I am but there is nothing I can do about it. Judging by the way you're speaking no matter what I do at this point you outsmarted me. And your plan has been set into motion. It makes me mad. I can't deny that." The air shifted around Concept.

"Don't take it too harshly...I'm just better." The king laughed at him more.

Concept was visibly mad now.

"Anyway...See ya." The king teleported back to the field and just laid there.

"My plan won't work if even a step goes wrong. I know I have to put Carver through some terrible things but he'll pull through. He is my son after all...I guess I should do it now." The king held up the book and a flash of light came out then the book disappeared.

"The new goddess of Faith is now. And the child of her's will be the strongest thing in and out of existence. I guess I just got to sit and relax for a while" The king smiled and fell asleep.

"You are too damn smart for your own good." The king heard a voice in his dream.

"It is fun to watch and see how this is going to play out though." A woman said chuckling.

"Who's...Speaking?" The king finally spoke in the sea of darkness.

Then before he got an answer he woke up. It was night time and a nice warm breeze came over him. After some time passed after that.

"Keth your birthday is tomorrow! how ya feel?" Carver slapped him on the back and smiled.

"I feel good I guess. Dad will be announcing the new king after soon. We should go head to the Dining room."

"Don't worry so much about that! You're definitely going to be the king."

"I agree with Carver you shouldn't worry about it too much." Lizzy smiled and smacked him on the back as well, just softer.

Keth smiled and gently pushed them both.

As they all walked into the room with a big table and tables on the sides for all the demon maids and butlers that were completely normal to the family.

"Yo." The king said as they all walked in and sat down.

Carver's face quickly dropped when he saw a drink at each seat.

"So let's just cut to the chase, Keth is the new King but I really don't think anybody is surprised by that." The king chuckled.

"I told you!" Carver got excited again.

"As a celebration, I got you all something." Toyomo slid each of them a book across the table.

"Don't open it yet. Listen up! You all have been through a lot. Every single one of us has been through a lot! To hell and back! My words and Ideas will be the only thing you all have left of me! So I want you to remember. Push through and keep moving even when things seem hopeless. Be the light everybody needs to travel in the dark. I know it will hurt sometimes. But we let the pain fuel us. And let the good memories guide us. Put them behind you and let them push you forward." Toyomo gripped his necklace.

Eddy tilted his head back holding back the tears.

"Those words...Looks like they served you well. Along with me." Eddy thought to himself.

Earza couldn't help it, tears started running down her face. She quickly wiped them.

"Now...then. I want everybody to enjoy this meal with me." Toyomo smiled and sat down.

They had burgers and spaghetti.

"This was your mom's favorite meal. I bet she would be so proud of how all of you have grown up."

"Man Mizude would always go on and on about how she wanted burgers for every meal," Eddy said chuckling.

"I remember when Anna finished a whole pot of spaghetti. Jahol had to learn how to make both just so they wouldn't burn everything down trying to make it themselves." Earza laughed through her tears.

"I bet they were amazing women." Keth felt all of the sadness in the room so that came out in a sad tone.

"Ha! Eddy you're crying! What a bitch!" Toyomo said laughing at Eddy.

"Screw you! This your damn fault!"

"Yeah, I know sorry Eddy."

"Dad. Don't you think there is something you should be telling Keth and Lizzy? I know you know I was listening to that day. There is no way you couldn't have." Carver looked Toyomo in his eyes.

"I guess you right...Keth...Lizzy. I don't have much time to live...I'm barely just holding out."

"W-what!? And you waited until now to tell us that! And you knew Carver!?" Keth stood up from his chair.

"That's not something you should hear from me." Carver didn't turn to look at him. He just looked at his hands.

"...How long do you have..." Lizzy asked, her eyes full of tears.

"...I'm not living past today...So can you all do one thing for me? Can you raise your dinks high for me?" Toyomo slowly started to slip.

"You should have told us sooner you damn bastard!" Keth grunted as picked up his glass.

Everybody else raised a glass as well.

"We are held together by something stronger and thicker than blood. It's called love. It's a goddamn complicated mess. But it's us...Now drink." Toyomo threw back his drink like it was nothing. Eddy finished 2nd and Earza 3rd.

Toyomo eyes dimmed.

Eddy walked over to him and handed Toyomo 2 bronze coins.

"Looks like you won." More tears came down Eddy's face.

"My body will teleport to Mizude and Anna's grave when I die...So...I'll be right where I want to be." Toyomo smiled as tears came down his face. His vision got darker.

"Goodbye, my brother." Eddy

"I'll miss you, brother." Earza

"We'll miss you Lord Toyomo" Maids and Butlers

"Goodbye, and tell mom I said hi." Keth

"Thank you for everything you did for me...Dad" Lizzy

"See ya next time...space cowboy."

As they all cried Toyomo smiled.

"Thank you all..." After those words, Toyomo disappeared to his realm and laid peacefully.

Toyomo once again sat in darkness. The darkness from his dreams. He looked around.

"Looks like I didn't make it into heaven," Toyomo said laughing.

"No, but you're here with us." A familiar voice called out to him.

"With who?" When Toyomo said that he blinked and when he opened his eyes he was back in the bar from all those years ago. Anna, Mizude, Patty, Chad, James, Ilet, Samtail, Jahol, And some people he didn't recognize stood there. A drank in the hand.

"Took you a while." Chad smiled big.

"Oh shut up. He had things to do." Samtail said slapping Jahol on the back of his head.

"You did so much. With such precision. Wonder what your plan is. Anyway welcome." Patty said sitting on a stool.

"Looks like you took care of the kids. good job." Jahol said grinning.

"We watch the whole time. I'm happy you raised them well." Mizude said, grabbing one of his arms.

"And we saw all the weight you were carrying...Let it go now. It's ok." Anna grabbed his other arm.

Tears came down Toyomo's face.

A mid 20 looking man walked over to Toyomo.

"Thanks for my cool name." The man grinned.

"Solomon...Is that you?"

"Sure is. There is also somebody else you need to see." Solomon smiled and moved out of the way to reveal a man and a woman. A man with dragon scales. And a woman with dark hair.

"Good to see you...Son."
