A new day had dawned, and the sun rose once again in New York's concrete jungle, quickly restoring vitality to one of the world's largest cities. Husbands kissed their families goodbye as they headed for work, children laughed on their way to school, and one by one, the shops began to open for business. Despite the continued chill in the air, it was, undoubtedly, a good start. Of course, there were less-than-good starts, too—like the ear-piercing scream that echoed from a small apartment on Seventh Avenue.
"Stop screaming, Innie, it's giving me a headache," Adrian yawned as he sat up, his tone a mixture of complaint and nonchalance.
Ivanka, who had woken up in a man's arms and noticed something unusual about herself at the same time, finally snapped out of it, shivering and clutching the blanket to her chest, her lips trembling with shock and disbelief.
"What... what are you doing here?!" she asked in panic, instinctively avoiding the obvious facts.
