Leng Sichen picked up the little guy and placed him on the chair; the soft, tiny body made him reluctant to let go.
"Being small is such a hassle, when can I finally grow up!" Xiaobai grumbled a bit discontentedly, then looked at Leng Sichen and asked, "You didn't really want to go up there, did you?"
"Yeah," Leng Sichen nodded, thinking that the child was quite good at reading people.
"You seem unhappy," Xiaobai cocked his head.
"A little," Leng Sichen admitted.
"Why?"
Xiaobai rarely struck up a conversation with strangers curiously, but since this man had sat down here, he had taken notice of him.
Even though he was quiet, he still managed to attract everyone's attention.
However, the man seemed approachable only from a distance, hardly approachable, and thus no one dared to strike up a conversation with him.
"Because I lost someone," Leng Sichen's corner of his lips twisted with a touch of bitterness.
"Then find her!" Xiaobai blinked his eyes.
