Her answer was brief, without any additional boasting or embellishing about herself.
Tang Li knew such a response was not very diplomatic.
Gao Wenlan brought her here to meet the producer and director of the film adaptation of "Original Sin," which was essentially a disguised audition. If her answers satisfied them, the role of Ying Xuaner could very likely become hers.
The recommendation from Director Ruan Jiang and familiarity with the original author were additional advantages for her.
Yet, Tang Li didn't want to rely on exaggeration to secure this role.
