Yododani Temple was silent, illuminated only by the blood-red moonlight that shone upon the desolate courtyard filled with fallen leaves. The weeds on the ground were at least two feet high, and broken slate stones from an unknown era lay across the doorway, covered in moss and unnamed vines.
A desolate cold wind blew from some gloomy corner, chilling to the bone, with a whispering sound as if carrying the murmurs of dead souls in their dreams—and yes, this metaphor had a basis. Last time I took Sylvanas to tour Avalon, she fell asleep in the Fairy Garden, and the area within a twenty-meter radius around her was swirling with cold wind.
Okay, I digress.
Anyway, the above scene was what we saw after pushing open the main gates of Yododani Temple.
