In the kidnapper's car, a lean man sat in the backseat with a child lying on his lap—it was Doudou, who had gone missing from the amusement park earlier that day.
"Qiangzi, there's a roadblock ahead; they seem to be checking for drunk driving. Let's take another route," the lean man spoke up. They had scouted this route beforehand, and it was usually free from drunk driving checks, but the sudden inspection today made the lean man uneasy.
