Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Socializes

Five of them chatted about so many things from rumors, gossip to scandal. Suddenly Annabel's with excitement asked Syal, "Do you know what lies after being a Fated?"

Syal's brow furrowed in curiosity, and he responded, "Is there something more than being a Fated? Is that the Deities?"

Annabel chuckled, "No, silly! You must not know about the Fated Chart, then. Let me explain it to you."

She took a deep breath, launching into an explanation. "Starting with 'Fated' – that's the first stage, from one to three spins. These are people who are just starting their journey, having acquired a core, until they obtain their first mythical profession."

Annabel continued, "Then there's 'Fortuned', which is from three to six spins. These individuals have two to three cores and at least one mythical profession. However, if someone has only one core and acquires a mythical profession on their second spin, they're still considered Fated."

Syal listened intently, intrigued by the hierarchy. Annabel concluded, "After the Fortuned stage, the path branches out. There are different routes to take, and it gets more complicated from there."

Syal's eyes widened, eager to learn more about the Fated Chart and the stages that lay beyond. "What comes after Fortuned?" he asked.

Gabriel, who had been quietly observing the conversation, suddenly spoke up. "The first branch are the orthodox one, upgrades from fortuned are called 'Seduloused'. It's for individuals who have reached seven spins or more."

Syal's eyes widened in surprise. "I've never heard of that. What kind of requirements does it have?"

Gabriel's eksplained. "From what I've gathered, Seduloused individuals have at least three cores, three mythical professions, and one advanced mythical profession."

Syal's asked. " Is there the end of orthodox path?"

Gabriel shake his head. "No, beyond Seduloused lays Controller. I don't know much about it either."

Syal's eyes widened in awe, and Annabel shook her head. "I had no idea. I've never met anyone who's reached that level."

Gabriel's gaze turned distant, and he added, "I do know someone who's a Controller, though. He's...or rather, He is someone who's reached an even higher level."

Syal's ears perked up, and he asked, "What do you mean by 'He'?"

Gabriel's voice dropped to a whisper. "I'm talking about your father, Syal. The reason people address him as 'Him' is that he's censored his name from reality. He's that powerful."

The room fell silent, and Syal's mind reeled with the implications. He had always known that his father was someone special, but he had never imagined that he was a being of such immense power and mystery. He now understand why he's father considered one of strongest in Humanity. New question arise in his mind, why his father censored his name? Pity maybe only his father knows the answer.

Jacob, who had been quietly observing the conversation, spoke up, "There's another path, one that doesn't quite fit the traditional chart. The path was Called Unlucky Chart."

He leaned in, his voice taking on a slightly conspiratorial tone. "The first rank called the Dissident. These are individuals who have between 7 to 15 spins, but don't quite fit the fate chart."

Syal's brow furrowed in curiosity. "What do you mean? How can someone not fit the chart?"

Jacob explained, "Well, for example, let's say someone is Fortuned, but they've had more than 7 spins and still haven't acquired a advance mythical profession. They wouldn't fit into the Seduloused category, but they're still beyond the Fortuned stage. But against Seduloused, they fall short by big margin."

Gabriel nodded thoughtfully. "I see what you mean. And what about those who have more than 15 spins?"

Jacob's expression turned serious. "Those individuals are considered Sinners, people who have gone against fate. If someone has had that many spins and still hasn't acquired an advanced mythical profession, it's likely they're actively working against their own destiny."

The room fell silent, as the weight of Jacob's words sank in. Syal couldn't help but wonder about the implications of being a Sinner, and what it meant to go against fate.

Vincent, who had been quietly observing the conversation, finally spoke up, his voice commanding attention. "There are paths to becoming strong other than the Fated Path. And these paths don't even require the use of the Supreme Artifact."

The others leaned In, intrigued by Vincent's words. "There are three main paths: Martial Arts, World Language, and Science."

Gabriel's eyes narrowed. "Martial Arts? You mean like fighting?"

Vincent shook his head. "It's not just about fighting. Martial Artists use their will to affect the world. They can tap into the fundamental forces of nature and manipulate them. I once see Martial art's fighting. He pose and the surrounding ground change into a dojo, trapping him and the opponent."

Annabel's eyes widened. "That sounds incredible."

"Awesome!"

"Yeah." Others Response.

Before Vincent continue, Jacobs asked." Wait, what is a dojo?

Vincent stare at him. " For real dude?! Just think that's a hall with sole purpose is to accommodate people fighting."

Before others interrupted, Vincent continued , "Then there's World Language. I'm not entirely sure how it works, but I've seen people use certain phrases to summon fireball or manipulate the environment."

Jacob whistled. "That's crazy."

Vincent nodded. "And finally, there's Science. With guns, cannons, and other technology, humans have become the dominant force on this continent because our cannon."

Jacob's eyes sparkled with curiosity as he asked Vincent, "Can you tell us more about how the Martial Arts master fought?"

Vincent nodded, a faraway look in his eyes as he began to recount his tale. "I come from a merchant family. One of our voyages took a turn for the worse when our ship was raided by pirates."

The others lock In, captivated by Vincent's story. "Fortunately, my father had hired a Martial Arts master as a bodyguard. He was an unassuming man, but when the pirates attacked, he sprang into action."

Vincent's voice dropped to a whisper. "With a single punch, he destroyed the pirate ship. But the pirate captain was an Fortuned, with the power to control water. He easily floated above the wreckage, using his abilities to stay out of reach."

The others gasped In awe, imagining the scene. Vincent continued, "That's when the Martial Arts master jump into sea then began to use his martial arts stances. He posed, and suddenly the sea around them transformed into a dojo."

Syal's eyes widened. "What do you mean? The sea just…changed?"

Vincent nodded. "Yes, it was as if the very fabric of reality had shifted. The pirate captain was forced to fight the Martial Arts master on the dojo, where there was no water to aid him."

The others sat In stunned silence, their minds reeling from the implications of Vincent's story.

Despite being forced to fight on the dojo, the pirate captain remained a formidable opponent. As a Fortuned, he possessed at least two cores, one of which was likely a Flesh Core, given his ability to regenerate and possess superhuman strength.

The pirate captain charged at the Martial Arts master, saber flashing in the light. The two clashed, their movements lightning-fast as they exchanged blows. The Martial Arts master, despite not having any cores, seemed to gain the upper hand.

His flesh was surprisingly durable, his punches powerful, and his techniques sophisticated. When the pirate captain's saber sliced through the air, the Martial Arts master met it with his fist, sparks flying as steel met steel.

Syal's eyes widened in amazement. "His fist…it's not like flesh at all. It's like steel."

The battle raged on, the two combatants exchanging blows. Slash met punch, kick met kick, each strike landing with precision and power. In the end, it was the Martial arts master who emerged victorious, his fist crushing the pirate captain's heart and ending his ability to regenerate. That's also the time I find the weakness of flesh core.

The others sat in stunned silence, awed by the Martial Arts master's incredible abilities. Vincent's story had given them a glimpse into a world beyond the Fated Path, a world where martial arts and sheer human determination could be just as powerful as any mythical profession. No. The martial art's are mythical profession, only not got by Supreme Artifact.

Syal asked. "I have one question, if every week one can spin the wheel, doesn't it means human can have powerfull person every 1 or 2 months? Why it's kinda hard to progress that far?"

Vincent face Syal than answer. " Isn't that obvious, the unknown slice. Every spin add minimum the same number of first wheel total slice. After the first spin, the slice will filled with unknown. You're not yet summon the wheel for second time. When you summon it, you will shocked with the "?" Number on it."
