~Michiko arrives at the airport (South wing)~
Michiko might not like it but she is very nervous and freaking out, she has never traveled so far before. She is so nervous that she doesn't know how to act or where to go. After she gets off the plane she got her luggage. As she gets her luggage she notices that there are a lot more security and police officers than usual, some of them are even looking at her directly but she doesn't think much of it.
Afterward, she just stands there not knowing where to go. She suddenly realized that she didn't know where to start looking for her brother and where she was going to stay at, especially since she doesn't have a lot of money.
~She facepalms~
Michiko thinks to herself ": What now?"
She starts to wander around the airport trying to figure out a plan of action.
As she is walking she notices that there were a few of the security and police officers she had seen before, but jet again she brushes it off. She remembered that her aunt gave her a letter saying that it had some information on it. Curious she reaches for the letter when she suddenly feels a hand on her shoulder, she jumps a little. She didn't notice that the security guard was standing right behind her.
...
Startled but kinda annoyed she asks": What, is there something wrong?"
Security guard": Mam you will have to come with me."
Michiko": Um, no. Why would I? Could you please let go of me your invading my privacy"
Security guard": Listen, you're in a sticky situation and you're wasting my time and energy. I can put you in cuffs which would be easy for me but embarrassing for you or you could just come with me without having to make a scene. What do you think?"
~His grip on her shoulder tightens~
She knows that she can't get out of this situation, still confused not knowing anything she reluctantly agrees and starts to follow the security guard.
As she arrives at the questioning room her luggage is taken away for inspections.
.....
....
...
Michiko": So why am I here?" she seems really annoyed.
Officer:" Put 2 and 2 together. Why do you think you're here? Obviously, you're under investigation, just like a criminal. I guess the cliché isn't false, who would have thought!" He says sarcastically ~Rolles his eyes~
Then he mumbles to himself: "Your kind really doesn't know any respect nor any common sense."
Michiko:" What was that?!"
Officer:" Oh nothing."
Michiko:" That's what I fucking thought!"
The officer slams his hand on the table gets close to Michiko's face and says:" I don't know who you think you are but you ain't no price! You have no real future ahead of you! the only thing your people are good at is cleaning fucking toilets! You, people, are criminals, rapists, and retards with broken families trying to destroy MY beautiful country! MY BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY NOT YOUR'S! KNOW YOU PLACE RETARD!"
He lowers his voice and says: "I'm in a BAD mood today but knowing that you won't be here for long makes me giggle like a little girl. Now, I hope you FINALLY got your long-overdue lecture about status. KNOW YOU PLACE PEASANT!"
Michiko is red-faced trying to hold back her tears. She had never felt so blatantly disrespected in while. She can't wrap her head around as to why somebody was so racist and arrogant especially since he got angry out of nowhere. Just like her aunt did he sees her as nothing but a nuisance always looking down on her but this time she would slap him right across his face without any hesitation but she can't. She can't risk getting deported otherwise she would never be able to get the chance to find her brother ever again. With a criminal record and with the little money she has it would be impossible to get another visa.
She lets her head hang out of frustration but also because she doesn't want to show the officer her teary eyes out of pride.
Officer": I think she finally--"
~There is a knock on the door~
Officer": Well, well, well ~Rubs his hands in excitement~ let's see the results."
Officer 2": Are you done with the paperwork."
Officer": Nah, she gave me some naaasssstyyy attitude so I had to give her a few lessons. That's all." He gives her a vicious smile.
Officer 2": Aaaaha, I see. Anyway, I'll do the paperwork now you can take your lunch break now."
Officer": Aw, we were having so much fun, right Michiko"
~No response~
Officer2": Just get out of here already, you're wasting my time."
Officer": Alright, alright if you insist. But don't forget to call me for the grand surprise!"
Officer2": Just get out of here already."
Officer": Okay, bye by--"
Officer2 slams the door in his face.
Officer2": Okay let's start."
The officer goes through the typical question of "Do you know why you are here? Do you know the contents of your luggage? Did you bring any illegal substances into the country? etc"
Michiko only answers the questions either with a swift "yes" or "no", never raising her head or making eye contact with the officer.
But when the officer askes "What are your intentions coming here citizenship?
Michiko looks up. She opens her mouth trying to speak but no words come out. It feels as if someone is choking her. She thinks to herself:" Come on, get yourself together! You have come so far you can't just give up like this! He is waiting for me!"
After taking a second to collect her thoughts she explains why she had come to Canada and what lead her to this point. The officer who had seemed very disinterested and cold suddenly shows sympathy.
She (The officer) had to excuse herself for a minute. After she had entered the room with the other officer in toe she breaks the news that there were multiple different kinds of drugs found in Michiko's' luggage. Michiko is in disbelief. It doesn't make sense she thinks to herself. There is no reason for her to bring drugs into the country. While officer2 gave her the news the other officer is standing there with a huge smirk on his face crackling to himself.
Officer2:" You are under arrest, under the suspicion of bringing illegal substances into the country to sell them." Michiko can see in the officers' eyes that she is sympathetic towards her situation.
Michiko stands up in disbelief:" This can't be! I didn't bring any drugs with me! I haven't even been even near any, ever! You must believe me! You believe me right!" She is desperately trying to convince the officer that she is innocent and that somebody must have put it in her luggage when she wasn't looking. "All I want to do is find my brother! Is that too much to ask?"
Officer2: "Mam please, sit down. I'm sorry but there is nothing I can do. My supervisors have decided that you will be put in custody and you're very likely going to be deported and denied entry for a long time."
Michiko abruptly sits down and lets her hang again. "So there really isn't anything I can do."
Officer:" Your nervous behavior plus the drugs aren't a very good combination."
Officer interrupts:" But deportation and Michiko sure does fit, hahaha." He starts to laugh, unable to control himself.
Officer2:" Could you like shut up, nobody asked for your comment and it is unnecessary."
Officer: "Ah come on you have to admit they do go hand in hand." He starts to giggle "Besides, there was no need for you to apologize to someone like her. I don't give a damn as to why she came here and neither should you. We are here to abide by the law and enforce it at all times, there simply isn't room for pity. So stop you look ridiculous It doesn't matter what she came here for a criminal is criminal, PERIOD!"
Officer2:" I know but..." ~sigh~ She seems visibly frustrated
Officer2: "I'm sorry but I will have to put you in handcuffs and you're going to be put into a cell and then transferred."
Michiko stands up and puts her wrist together in front of her. Officer2 puts the handcuffs on her and leads her through the door with her hand on her shoulder and the officer right behind her. As she's lead out of the questioning room her sadness turns into anger towards the officer who blatantly insulated her. She thinks to herself "If I'm gonna get in trouble anyway I'll at least go the whole nine yards." What she does next surprises not only herself but also the officers who escort her. She didn't think that her body was going to react the way it did but she didn't stop it. With a swift motion, she releases herself from Officer2 and goes charging toward the officer at full speed knocking him over instantly. She starts to bunch and kicks him with no mercy. He tries to defend himself with his skinny arms but he miserably fails at it. The punches that felt the most satisficing to Michiko were the ones in the face. Just thinking about his face fueled the fire in her soul. It lasts only a minute before she is tackled to the ground by security guards but the damage is done. The officer who insulted her is lying on the ground all bruised with a bloody nose whining around.
As the security guards try to put the handcuffs on her back she raises her left arm, flips him off, and shouts" This land is more of my Country than it will ever be yours you fucking racist." Officer2 and the pedestrians look mortified as all of this unfolds right in front of their eyes. After insulting the officer for the last time she finally stops resisting. As she is basically dragged through the airport by her arms she still didn't feel satisfied. Knowing that someone basically ruined her life by putting drugs in her luggage makes her frustrated.
Michiko: "If I could only prove or find out... WELL FUCK THAT WON'T HELP ME NOW, UGH! If I get that bastard between my fingers he won't see the light of day ever again."
She starts to calm down:" if I could only go back in time I'm sure things would have ended up differently." A tear rolled down her face while remembering Christiano. "I would give anything really anything to see him just one more time."
"You would really do anything?"
Michiko: "Who just said that?"
"Don't you recognize me?"
Michiko: "What? Who and what are you? Why has everybody stopped moving" She is freaking out.
It has the body of a human but it doesn't have any eyes just a big mouth and its body is green and see-through.
"So many questions but yet the time isn't right. And neither are you? ~It shakes its head~ "What is it that you desire, Michiko?"
Michiko: "What I desire the most? No one has ever asked me that before, mmm. I want to prevent all of this from happening. I want whoever did this to me to be caught red-handed I want whoever put the drugs on me to suffer!"
"Is that what you really desire?"
Michiko:"... I'm sure of it!
"Alright, your wish shall be my command." it does a curtsey. "All you have to now is give me your hand."
Michiko: "Yeah, I would but you know ~shakes her hands~ handcuffs."
It snaps its fingers realising her from the handcuffs.
"They're finally off... Sooo you are telling me all I have to do Is shake your hand and I'll be able to catch the person who put me into this mess."
"Yes, there is nothing more to it. All you have to do is give me your hand." It stretches its hand towards Michiko. Michiko put her hand towards it but right before the handshake she stops. Michiko: "What are you? A demon?"
It laughs "It depends." "If saving my Brother means I have to make a packet with a demon so be it!" She goes in for the handshake. As they shake hands the creature gets a big grin on its face "YES" it starts to glow and Chinese characters appear all over its body saying "awakening". It pulls Michiko towards itself and hugs her while holding onto her wrist "Your wish shall be my command." Michiko is frozen in shock, but before getting a word out she is blinded by the green light that gets brighter and brighter by the second. When she opens her eyes she is back at the security area where the luggage is being x-rayed. In shock, she falls to the ground, dropping her luggage. She starts to get cold sweats, she pinches herself not believing that she just traveld back in time. As everyone is staring at her a kind old man helps her back on her feet. She thanks the man and then right away slaps herself across her face leaving a print of her hand behind. The man looks horrified. She thinks to herself: "CONCENTRATE! I have to get my shit together! ~She looks at her wrist and sees a green wrist band with a green crystal on it~ I don't know what this is or who that creature was but I have the privilege to make things right. So now let's see who tried to mess up my life." She scans the surrounding area looking for a suspicious person but she has no luck, no one looks suspicious except for herself. As she gets closer to the x-ray machine she gets more frantic "Who could it have been?" Just as her luggage through the machine she realized that when she fell to the ground that she dropped her bag and that it wasn't handed back by the old man but by the woman standing behind her. She hadn't realized that the woman gave it to her because she was trying to collect her thoughts. She glances over to the lady. The lady looks like the typical trophy wife, wearing a skimpy dress with platform heels and an LV bag. She looks very nervous and sick. Michiko figures out that it was the lady so she looks for security cameras.
Michiko: "Aha, there is one! And it has the perfect angel, just what I need!" Just before the luggage enters the x-ray machines take it off and opens the bag. Michiko:" Just like I thought!" She pulls out a small package. Michiko flags a security guard down and explains what she found, telling him to check the security cameras for proof and telling him who she thinks did it. The woman notices Michiko talking to the security guard and starts to freak out. She starts to breathe heavily, shakes, and frantically looks around, hoping to find a exist to no avail. She mumbles to herself: "I didn't want to do this she forced me! She said that it will be fine!"
The security guard confiscates the package, flags down another security guard, and starts to walk towards walking to the lady. She breaks down crying screaming: "I ADMIT IT, IT WAS ME but SHE FORCED ME she said that everything was going to be ok! SHE gave it to me!" Everyone is staring at her with a disgusted, scared of concerned look ok their face. Lady: "I'm doing this only to save my son! I'm struggling and hurting, why does nobody understand me? All I want is support is that too much to ask for?" She seemed to crack under all the pressure she was on said one of the security guards to the other. They try to calm her down but she is inconsolable and they just end up having to drag her away.
Michiko gets through the security check smoothly but she just seems empty. She thought about the words the lady said and realized that she can relate to her a lot. She feels very guilty knowing that the lady took the risk of smuggling drugs knowing that she could end up in jail just to help her son. She knows how hard it is to sacrifice everything for nothing. A tear rolls down her face, and then the waterfalls begin. She doesn't have the face of a crying person but rather of an empty person who only knows despair. Those empty eyes turn into eyes that are in pain longing for love. Michiko covers her face embarrassed by the fact that she is crying in public. She wanders around looking for somewhere to cry. When she spots a bathroom in a quiet area she runs towards it ready to pour her heart out.
