( Yuuki's POV )
After healing the captive girl's sister, I told her to talk about how she ended up here, but she was still a bit nervous.
Yuuki: They brought you and your sister to this island, What happened to your parents?
Yuri: ...we don't have parents, it's just my sister and me, I didn't know we were on an island.
Yuuki: Your sister's injuries were recent, were you in an accident?
Yuri: Yes, we were walking on the sidewalk and a truck came at us out of nowhere, the truck was able to stop but my sister ended up in very bad shape, I was terrified that I was going to lose my sister before an ambulance could arrive but a strange light came out of my hands and that seemed to help her a little, Then a black van showed up and took us both, that's how I ended up here.
Yes, these people are definitely monitoring a select group of people, there should be a list or reports somewhere here.
Yuri: They brought me to this room and told me to show them what I did before or my sister wouldn't survive.
That's what the scientists meant when they said they had confirmation of a perfect specimen.
Yuuki: You know what you were doing, or was that just luck?
Yuri: I just wanted to help my sister, I don't know why this is happening.
Yuuki: That's a bit of a long story, but there's something you have to take care of first.
Yuri: Hikari!
When Yuri finished speaking, I pointed at the girl on the operating table who was regaining consciousness, Yuri yelled her name, and she pulled her into a tight hug, the girl was confused, but I told the sisters we would talk when we left this place.
With the sisters behind me, I resumed my walk to the main office, when I got there, I saw Tatenashi going to get some documents with a slight frown on her face.
Yuuki: Did you find anything good?
Tatenashi: I don't understand, are they really serious about this stuff? Oh, who do you have there?
Yuuki: Some prisoners I rescued.
I went over to take a look at the documents he had, and they were all reports about possible supernatural events, all marked with a stamp of fake or under investigation, also what I wanted to find, a list of possible "specimens", Origami and Yuri were on this list and with them two, there were a total of six names.
Tatenashi still didn't believe in these supernatural things, but she agreed with me when I told her that the fact that this group believed in these things put these people in danger and they needed to be protected.
I took that responsibility upon myself because this was exactly why our school was created, we took all the documents that could be useful and boarded the flying ship, then I had a private conversation with Yuri, and that marked the end of our assault on the Hydra base.

( Miu's POV )
After dealing with the hive and curing most of the infected, Ayame and I gave a speech about how this station was now under our protection, Ayame was nervous during all of that, but I, who was next to her, was the only one who noticed that, when it was over we moved to a private room.
Miu: You did well, with two or three more of those, you should lose your nervousness.
Ayame: I don't know if I can handle all that.
Miu: You'll be fine, take this time to relax.
We were waiting for some construction drones to arrive and in the meantime, I visited the girl we had rescued from the hive, When I got there, Sakuya told me that the girl couldn't remember anything except her name, Rumiko, and as a side effect of receiving some of Yuuki's blood her hair had turned completely red and her facial features changed a little, she almost looked like a different person, she was grateful that we saved her from an aimless fate and she joined our ranks.
After leaving the place we passed through three more stations on our journey, Two of those we recovered from the Kabanes, and the last one was the one that had made contact with us after we founded a city in this world, now that we had Ayame's support the negotiations went much better, after spending a couple of days there, people were more comfortable with the cured people who came with us.
With the Mumei thing, I still didn't trust her much, but her attitude had improved a lot after spending time with Ikoma and Ayame.
With our successful missions, people's morale was higher than ever, but it was at this moment that things could go off the rails and I was more attentive than ever, we were traveling at night but I told all the soldiers to be on high alert and that proved to be the right decision when we detected an enemy signal.
The signal was different than usual, so I ordered to stop the train to make an investigation, but before we stopped, the enemy moved at high speed and hit us from our side, and the train was thrown off the tracks, the hybrid Gears were also hit and were being pressed against the ground.
No group of normal Kabanes could do all this damage to us so I went out to investigate what was attacking us, Saeko had the same idea, and when we were standing on the derailed train we saw two dozen strange and nasty red creatures with six limbs and three meters high, with one look I knew that these creatures could not be of this world.
I needed to inform Yuuki about this, but first, we had to eliminate these nuisances, Saeko and I unsheathed our katanas and prepared to attack.
