Salis stumbled a bit, before leaning against the nearby wall. It was well passed midnight and the sky was starting to lighten. Salis had been trying to got o his room but had somehow gotten lost. Grumbling at his fuzzy eyesite it stood up straight again and, stumbling continued to walk. While he was walking a hand suddenly grabbed his shoulder. Before he had a chance to fight the person spoke, "Why are you hear?"
"Ah.. Crown prince...!"
Salis immediately sober up a bit. He turned and tried to ignore his thumping heart, he hadn't even heard the crown prince footsteps, Salis became to wonder what level he was at. Perhaps he was already sword master?
"Salis.. Salis..Salis!"
The crown prince shouted in his face. Brought back from his thoughts Salis focused again on the crown prince, "Ah, right well i was walking absurd trying to clear my head when it seemed i got lost..." Salis trailed off, he didnt want to say something embarrassing like the fact he got lost trying to find his room.
The crown prince narrowed his eyes at the other.
"Just call me Alton, we're working together now anyway. Here walk with me we can talk about the house you want."
"Hmm.."
Salis replied his eyes unfocused and he sunk into his thoughts again. Alton took this chance to lead Salis to a nearby room that, just so happens to be the princes room. How funny was that?
He had dismissed the guards for the evening who guarded the doors as the whole knights company were celebrating there new commander. After entering the room the tow sat down on the chairs near the bed, before getting down to Business.
The prince motioned to Salis to talk and went to grab two glasses of wine. When he returned he made eye contact with Sails,
"Hm, well can't i have a drink with you too? I've heard you have good alcohol tolerance? Also tel me about the house you'd like, hm?"
Salis just watched him quietly before taking the glass and downing half of it in one gulp.
"Hm, well your- hem, Alton, i haven't really thought about that? I guess i'd need one in the capital.. i think i'd want it to have a big garden, not for the flowers but maybe for trees? I'd love to be able to sleep in the shade of a tree... Flowers are nice too though.. "
Salis rambled a bit about the things he would want in a house and Alton continued to watch, finding more and more consistencies in every action Salis took. It was almost positive that the other was Chin-hae.
Meanwhile Salis was also watching how Alton reacted to his actions. And he too began to realize that the man i front of him Alton and his friend from his previous life, Choi-tae were overlapping too much for it just to be a coincidence but what really matter to him was weather Alton in front of him remember there other life.
When they had first met Alton had mentioned 'superman' this was something that didn't exist in this world. There was a chance that the other was Choi-tae but was only a reincarnation one without memory's.
Finally neither could take it and just as they both opened there mouths a shout echoed outside the princes room.
"ASSASSINS!GAURDS!GAURDS!"
It was very shrill, which meant it was most likely a maid. Ignoring Alton next to him who he was 99% sure was either Chio-tae's reincarnation or still had his memories he rushed out side the rooms now fully soaber and was almost stabbed in the chest. Immediately parring the sword with a dagger in his sleeve he jumped forward nicking the assassin in the neck.
"Dammit! Alton go out the window! The gaurds get those a stupid gaurds!"
Alton ran to the window and jumped, the breaking of glass came from behind Salis and he cursed out loud,
"Dammit! I didn't say jump you asshole!"
Before he could turn around 3 different assassins attacked blocking the door to the room he knew he had to keep the assassins at bay fro as long as he could to give Alton enough time to reach the guards.
His blade swing faster and faster. But there was a only a little he could do with only a dagger.
Finally one of the assassins passed into the room, if Salis wanted to stope him he would have to leave the other 2 assassins at the door.
"Shit! That's not enough time!"
Jumped after the assassin he grabbed hold of their clothes and slices the back of their neck. Gabbing the sword from the dead and bloody assassin he once again began to block the blows from the assassins, all the while cursing in his head.
'Stupid! Stupid! Why didn't i say something?! Why did i allow the guards to drink?!Stupid me! Odviously everyone knows that right now we're at our weakest! Dammit!'
The swords had already cut through his cloths and he was bleeding in several different places, there were shallow cuts but because they bleed so much it looked like he was seriously hurt.
Curseing once again and apologizing in his head to Alton about his room he swong the sword cleanly slashing both assassins necks.
Not bothering to take off there masks he kept from the window and parkoured down the side of the palace.
His eyes were already well adjusted to the night so he was clearly able to see the light magic that was coming from the knights quarters, it seemed like the prince had made it there safe. Hightinging his hearing he listened for the sound of breath, finding several below him he jumped taking down another assassin as he fell on their back. He had landed in a ground of 5 assassins all headed to the light, where his freinds were and his maybe past life freind.
Something inside him seemed to click, and one chain fell off the monster trapped inside him, letting lose a low growl Salis tackled the assassinthat hadn't run cleanly cutting their neck. A warm sprinkle washed over Salis cloths and face but it seemed like he hadn't even noticed.
He began to run, chasing down the 4 running assassins, the stone courtyard u see waht his feet seemed to be pushing him forward, fast faster and in seconds he had caught up with the four assassins.
"Slclitck!-"
"Swcruch!-"
"Curgch!-"
"Urgck!-"
All four heads rolled off the body's that were now falling limply to the ground.
"Ahhh! Blood! Blood!"
He kept running, ignoring the scream that from behind him, somewhere inside the princes room he suspected.
He passed several knights who had there swords drawn and were also running to the area with the light, all the knights could see was a blur of black and a trail of blood left behind.
Suddenly a knight yelled nobody knew who but the message was clear even with all the shouts and sounds of battle and footsteps, "It's the commander!"
Salis began to release his blood lucy the moment he saw a knight who was bleeding and being supported by another knight. The more blood he saw on the knight the more blood list he released. It began to spread, the knights and assassins were both frozen for a matter of moments unable to react.
Of course the knights who had more experience in battle and the assassin were quicker to snap out of it but with this Salis had made his position known. Though mostly it was to help the knights who were currently fighting to find a moment to attack and to show they that he was there.
'I can't let this get any bigger, we have to stop it now, before it reaches the emperor or empress, even those dirty princes!'
Finally he reached the light, at the center of it was the crown prince, Alton who was fighting with one arm the other covered in red and limp at his side.
Surrounding him were knights all of which were covered in wounds deep and shallow doing there best to hold off the attackers. But they had all been drinking only hours before, at most they would be able to block for a while before the remaining alcohol and fatigue kicked in. The fact that there commander was here too probably made them relax more.
Shouting loudly Salis said,
"You lazy fucks! Don't let your gaurd down! Even if your drunk you should still be able to do that!"
Immediately a cry rose from the knights the knights wanted to let there commander know they were all fighting. Salis reached the middle just in time to block a attack from 2 different assassins.
