"Training camp? What training camp?" Her brows furrowed. "Are you serious?" She did not sign for any training camp. And besides, she thinks she doesn't need it anymore. She had been to one before.
"It's for training how to counter other beings." A short pause before Lorna said another word. "Obviously, you didn't even open the signed document." She put down her own canned soda on the table and faced her body to Melisca, who had a thoughtful expression. "It was stated in the papers."
Oh, fuck. Melisca cursed inwardly. She should have read it before signing the contract. She was thrilled that she got in. So, whatever was in it, she did not heed anymore. Damn it. What a reckless move. She chided herself. She wanted to bump her head to a wall while cursing her stupidity. But then, she was so exhausted last night. And after finally meeting Ezekiel face to face, everything else on her mind vanished. He was the last thought she had before falling asleep.
