In recent years, the entertainment industry has experienced a wave of enthusiasm for directing films. Whether novelists, TV hosts, or actors, everyone flocked to make movies. In reality, very few were actually doing the directing; most were just using the title to make money. If the film received critical acclaim or did well at the box office, they would happily proceed to make a second film or start a new project. If the film was critically panned, they would take the money and run, never touching directing again.
