With Dutan's disappearance, the tension in the space eased considerably.
The Sentinel Commander, a towering figure with the body of a humanoid tiger and the poise of a seasoned warrior, turned his focus to their return.
His armor, forged from black and saffron Spirit Alloy, gleamed under the ambient light from the nearby star. Every plate was meticulously fitted to his powerful frame, built for both combat and command. His eyes, sharp and unwavering, scanned the surroundings as the final preparations wrapped up.
Behind him stood a colossal Stellar Spacecraft, a marvel of Spirit Engineering. Its sleek beige body stretched into the horizon, large enough to accommodate a million Sentinels, let alone the several thousand currently assembled.
Its engines pulsed with a steady hum, promising a swift return to Sentinel Nexus, the central base of the Sentinel Order.
Everyone moved in an orderly fashion. As the last of the Sentinels boarded, a young trainee flew towards the Sentinel Commander.
She landed lightly before him and called out, "Great Grandpa."
The middle-aged Commander's stern expression softened as he looked at his great-granddaughter. She was the pride of their clan, her talent outshining his own. Her saffron-brown fur, striped in black, matched his own. Her twin braids rested neatly on either side of her face.
She wore armor like his, detailed with fur and patternwork, but hers had a touch of elegance, almost like a noble's formal wear shaped into battle gear.
"What is it, Little Shurie?" he asked with a warm voice.
She frowned as her whiskers twitched. "Please don't call me that. It's embarrassing."
He chuckled, the sound echoing across the docking bay. "Hahaha… whatever Little Shurie says."
She sighed, eyes rolling ever so slightly. There was no stopping him. That nickname had stuck since she was a child. She was just glad not many were around to hear it this time.
Letting it go, she cut to the point. "Great Grandpa, what do you think the punishment Lord Dutan mentioned at the end will be?"
The Commander's expression turned serious. His brows furrowed instantly. "Have you harmed any of the Trial Participants?"
"Geez… it wasn't me." Shurianne folded her arms, visibly annoyed. "Katia used Tier Suppression on a few of them to figure out who was strongest. But some participants badmouthed her, so she decided to put them in their place. Luckily, I stepped in before things went too far. If I hadn't, she might've killed a few." She spoke fast, as if getting it all out in one breath.
The Sentinel Commander's expression darkened at her words, "Hot-headedness will be the undoing of that lass. Don't associate with her. Nothing good will come of it," he said in a firm voice.
Shurianne, impatient and eager to get answers, brushed his words aside, "Alright, I'll think about it later… Now tell me what this punishment could be?"
The Commander clicked his tongue in annoyance, clearly frustrated that his great-granddaughter wasn't taking his words seriously. Still, he answered.
"I don't think the punishment would be severe. At the least, she might serve as a Planetary Guard for a year or two. At most, she'll be sent to patrol the outer rung of the Battlefield Border."
Shurianne sighed in relief, glad that her friend wouldn't face anything too serious. Then she asked something that had been bothering her.
"Great Grandpa, why did Lord Dutan react that way? They were just some insignificant Trial Participants."
The Commander shook his head, a little disappointed at her perspective.
"Don't look down on them. Do you know the title Lord Dutan held before becoming a Sovereign? He was KADAR's ALPHA PRIME."
Shurianne went silent. His words took a moment to sink in. Her eyes widened as realization hit.
"Wait... doesn't Lord Dutan have a Grade-10 Space Innate Talent? Shouldn't he be an Omega Chosen?"
The Commander looked around, making sure no one was nearby. Then he raised a bubble of Energy around them.
"You know very little about what an ALPHA PRIME truly means. Keep this to yourself. Not many are allowed to know."
Shurianne leaned in, listening carefully as the Commander continued.
"There's a hidden hierarchy among Alpha Primes. It's not about Tier or Innate Talent. It's about the strength of their FRAMES. You know how hard it is to synthesize one, right?"
Shurianne nodded quickly. She knew it took five or more Level 100 Skills to synthesize a FRAME. The synergy between the maxed-out passive skills dictated the probability of the synthesis. If it failed, those skills could never be used for another attempt.
Resistance-type skills were the most common for synthesis. They could be leveled just by taking a certain type of damage and recovering from it.

The number of Level 100 skills used decided the FRAME's Class: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Crown.
A FRAME made with the bare minimum of five Lv. 100 skills would be Bronze-Class. On the other hand, the one resulting from the maximum of ten Lv. 100 skills will be hailed as Crown-Class, the highest possible Class for a FRAME.
Even her Great Grandpa, a seasoned Tier-9 warrior, only had two Silver-ClassFRAMES and one Gold-Class FRAME.
