Somewhere on the East Coast, a secret base, an underground hall.
In the hall, Muse still wore the clothes she had fought in earlier, much of it shredded and stained with the blood of enemies and her own, looking utterly miserable.
Yet Muse stood quietly, scanning the people in the hall with her remaining right eye, her aura still overwhelmingly strong—showing no signs of weakness even after killing more than twenty powerful wizards. This made everyone in the hall dare not breathe heavily and they kept their heads down as they busied themselves with their tasks—with the first phase of the plan unfolding, there was even more work than before, leaving almost no one idle.
At that moment, with a creak, the doors of the hall opened and Franklin entered with a group of people.
Seeing Muse, Franklin bowed his head and respectfully said, "Muse Housekeeper."
"Is the lakeside matter settled?" Muse glanced at Franklin with one eye and asked.
"All settled," Franklin quickly replied.
