Qiuqiu quietly lay on the woolen blanket, its body surrounded by plants.
These plants, which Shao Zifeng couldn't recognize, had long elliptical lance-shaped leaves that were thick and had distinct veins, with pale blue light points flowing within them. The points gathered, moving up the proud flower stalks, becoming more concentrated, and the light grew increasingly intense; finally, they converged in the funnel-shaped flowers, emitting a faint glow.
Shao Zifeng sat beside Qiuqiu, gently caressing its large head while around them, points of light floated like fireflies, darting between golden wine jugs and goblets in the otherwise silent and seemingly endless darkness.
The fawn, standing amidst the lush vegetation, looked at Qiuqiu with concern; having followed Shao Zifeng from an early stage, it knew how deeply they cared for each other and feared that Zifeng would make some irrational decision.
