The sea breeze was acrid and sweet, filled with the scent of seaweed, mixed with the smell of sand and soil, rushing towards him.
Shen Chi silently stood guard upstairs, his vantage point providing a clear view of every move at the dock.
"Xiao Mo, if anything unexpected happens later, remember, protect yourself and don't worry about me," Shen Chi ordered in a cold voice!
He knew, with Xiao Mo's loyalty, he would definitely protect him, but he didn't need it!
"Boss Shen..."
"This is an order!" Shen Chi interrupted him.
Xiao Mo said nothing more, simply nodding his head.
Silently on guard, all was quiet around them, save for the roaring sounds of the sea waves.
It was half past eleven at night, and still no one had appeared at the dock.
Both Shen Chi and Xiao Mo were very patient, having waited nearly seven years, they weren't concerned about a minute or a second more.
