"I know we didn't leave off on the best of terms, Jormangundr, but I need your help."
Jormangundr sniffs the air around Fin. "Ah. You're not from this time. If you are here asking for your siblings help, then it must be because of you."
"As much as I hate to agree with you, I do. I cause Ragnarok."
Jormangundr growls for a moment, then sighs heavily. "Fine. I shall help you. Unchain me and I shall help you"
Fin, scratches his head "I don't suppose you have a magic key do you Hel?"
"Unfortunately, I do not. I could try to age the chains, but this magic is beyond my powers."
The two look inside the cave and examine the chains in depth. Fin walks up to it and tries to sniff the chain for a scent.
"The water has gotten rid of the scent, even mine or Cerberus' are useless at this point."
"These chains were placed on me after I had fallen deep into my first hundred year slumber." The three siblings sigh.
"I think I might know a way to free you brother, it just requires..." He inhales then coughs "Sleipnir"
Hel looks over at Fin, staring him down "You can't be serious. Are you trying to gather the main siblings?"
"Look, when I mean I cause Ragnarok, I mean I caused Ragnarok... And may or may not have allowed 6 new gods to gain powers from it."
Jormangundr looks down at his brother, "I knew I should've devoured you when you came in here..."
"He may be the only one, outside of the original makers of these chains, to be able to break you free and in this time period not even I know where to find them."
Hel and Jormangundr nod, then Jormangundr lowers himself to the ground "I will stay here, if you two can find Sleipnir and bring him down here, I will not devour you."
"That's reassuring. The only problem now is, where was Sleipnir's forest?"
"First lets head back to the surface, then we shall discuss that. We'll be back soon brother."
Jormangundr nods, then backs up back into his cave. Cerberus, Hel, and Fin now make their way back up to the surface, using Hel's ice barrier again. Once back on the surface, the two start trying to remember where to find Sleipnir.
"If I was in my other form, I could probably find him easily..."
"From what you have told me, save that for when the time comes."
"I know, especially if we come across myself in this time." He looks down "If I lose myself, please kill me. I know you have the ability to and I don't want to have to fight Jormangundr again. That'll take ages again."
"I won't have to Fenrir." She looks over at him in time to see him cringe "I apologize Fin. I wasn't thinking"
"No, it's... It's okay. I have to get used to it again. I hadn't gone by Fenrir for almost two hundred years."
After walking for several miles, they decide to stop and rest up.
"I better go hunting for food. Cerberus hasn't really had anything to eat since we left our time."
"Before you do... May I ask you a question?"
"Of course. Ask away Hel"
She looks up at him with a worried look "Since you came back to this time to find Jormangundr and myself, does that mean we are killed by this Six you spoke of?"
"To be honest, I never was able to find either of you. Your home was destroyed and the entire lands were covered in sand and ruins"
She looks down, unsure of how to take his answer. After he left. she started to think maybe she does die, but then shrugs it off and looks up into the sky as the sun starts to set.
Hour's passed and it was time to resume their journey to find yet another brother.
"When was the last time you saw Sleipnir, Hel?"
"The last time I saw him, he was in the ancient forest."
"Seriously... He's never left?"
She looked up at the moon just in time to hear howling. She looked over at Fin who was leaned up against a tree. The howling got louder and louder, soon followed the ground shaking slightly.
"I don't remember wondering this far in that form" He whispered to her. Cerberus stood up and began to growl. Hel put out the fire and they stood there quietly ready. Time passed while they stood in the dark. Fenrir's eyes finally adjusted to the dark allowing him to see further through the woods, seeing a massive shadow facing their direction. It was massive wolf, except he could tell it wasn't him.
The wolf loomed over the forest for a moment then looked away from their direction and began to sprint away. Once gone, Fenrir relaxes,
"Don't tell me I'm too late..."
"Was that one of them?"
He looked in the direction the wolf was headed then back to his sister "We need to find Sleipnir and get Jormangundr free. It's already beginning..."
"I'll see if I have enough energy to get us close to Sleipnir." She closes her eyes and tries to focus on their brother.
Fenrir looks at Cerberus who had finally relaxed, slightly shaken. "That was too close bud..."
"I found him. Shall we leave?"
He nods "Let's leave before something else sneaks up on us" Fenrir replies as Cerberus runs through the portal. Once he stepped through, Fenrir is greeted by another forest. In the distance, the sound of a horse is heard. The neighing and trotting moving everywhere within the forest
"Of course he's not gonna make this easy on us."
She glanced at Fenrir, "Does he ever?" She smiled and began to run into the direction of the sounds.
Fenrir sighs and runs after her, followed by Cerberus, but after running for a minute Cerberus stops and looks back the way they came, growling. Fenrir notices Cerberus and stops as well.
"Keep after Sleipnir, somethings wrong."
"I have gone too long without seeing my brothers, I'll bring Sleipnir to you."
He nods and stands beside Cerberus, both staring in the direction. The longer they stood there the more he could sense something or someone ahead of them.
"I heard my brother found some unexpected visitors in his forest, Fenrir..." The feminine voice sounded familiar to the young man. "You don't belong here Fenrir..."
"You're one of the Six aren't you?"
She looks at him curiously "Ah so we are still alive in your timeline I see." She smirked and stepped out of the shadows. "Then I assume you know I'm not here to play around with to pups"
He knew he was going to have to use his power. "Well, if we're going to fight, let me just set this down." He lowers the Khopesh and sets it up against a tree, as he steps away, his nails begin to grow sharp, his teeth beginning to grow as well.
"Hmmm am I actually going to see you change?" Black fire begins to surround her whole body, then focus around her hands. He's prepared for her to charge, but then disappears in black smoke.
"Did you know, each member of the Six actually has a name?" Her voice echoes around him. "My black fire and smoke is the reason my name is Obsidian" She leans in behind him and whispers "Not even your senses can find me" She then disappears again before he could swipe at her.
"Dammit...." He curses, then a thought comes to mind "Cerberus now!" Cerberus jumps to the command and changes to his true form, his head splits into three, growing the size of a two story house. Fenrir jumps to the side in time for the three headed hound to spew green fire from all three of his heads.
Obsidia stood out of reach of the fire, examining the situation. "Hmmm, I was not expecting that." She then holds her hand out in front of her, her black fire intensely growing and spreading through the forest.
