Chapter 30 - Fire Emblem 25 Melitha and Idunn

It took a week to settle the issues in Caelin to a point Hector was satisfied. The questioning of Lungren the 2nd was short as Hector inserted he belong to his forces and they should be happy the antidote was acquired.

The Lord of Caelin made a full recovery and with the help of his daughter, granddaughter, and son-in-law, he had a lot to look forward to. Despite the situation that took place because of his brother, he showed pity that it ended the way it did. With the retainer General Eagler and General Wallace, the citizens were brought to an understanding quickly. The blame was placed on Lundgren and those who supported him fully.

But thanks to Lady Madelyn recruiting the help of mercenaries and the help of her Sacean tribe, Caelin was saved before it was to late. Apologies and restitution had been delivered, and thanks to the popularity of the Lord, the people embraced the return of Madelyn and the heir Lyndis.

Lyndis was crowned as the heir despite her protests. Promoting from a Lord of the Sacaen plains to a Blade Lord in the great hall. Her attire was the same as the one she would have had except she wore stockings underneath and had long sleeves on. It was less flesh showing but damn did she drew the attention of everyone.

Hector found himself looking more than usual at her. Much to the embarrassment of Lyndis, who harbored strong animosity towards him. Even with her new strength, she was not a match for him directly.

In an empty room, Hector looked over the payment given by Madelyn. It was not the full amount and barely covered the overhead for the mercenaries hired. Luckily, Hector was not a spendthrift and had ample funds still.

Not to mention Richard producing materials for use.

Contracts were paid out for another six months and payments for other amenities and promises were fulfilled. Funds would be tight if he didn't act on his next plan, which was the reason for the next visitor.

Bramimond came in escorted by Sigune and a few Pesgaus Riders minus their mounts. Bringing up the rear was also Aenir, wearing a high-rise robe. Dressed like a cleric compared to before, when she wore robes like a Sage.

"Are we all ready?" Hector asked while pressing his hands to the ground with Bramimond. "We will only fight if we must."

They all gave a nod, then the teleportation lit up with the guidance of Bramimond.

.

Shrine of Seals Bern-

.

Hector, cloaked in his Cleric Robes over his armor moved with a purpose through the building. Accompanied by the Dark Druid Bramimond, they made it into the Dragon Temple within Bern in record time. He was no fool and knew the ancient young woman was smitten with him and possibly saw him as a potential partner or experiment of sorts. They would use each other to gain advantages, at least that is how Hector saw it.

Taking a slower approach were Aenir, Sigune and the mercenaries.

"What are you going to show me now?" Bramimond felt a flush of warmth just standing next to him with her magic. The magic Hector exuded and the fact he beat her in many magic duels only heightened her desire for him. Oh how she wanted to run magical experiments to unlock his full Dark Magic. "The temple is not that exciting, hasn't really changed much either."

As they both were touched by the Legendary tome Apocalypse, Bramimond for wielding it so long and her own understanding and Hector from absorbing it into the Primordial Sea had a certain Affinity for one another.

As for the male Bramimond, he could generally feel when the man was thinking about him. It was an odd sensation but not unpleasant. Especially as the other talked about magical studies to him almost nonstop.

He indulged Hector's desire to obtain an understanding of Morphs and how they were created.

"It is what's inside that matters." He pulled her close pulling her into a kiss for shits and giggles. Their tongues swirled around fighting for dominance quickly. In this to she lost but you wouldn't think so. Not as experienced as him and knowing only a little of the affairs between the sexes she of course would lose. "Decision time."

Oddly enough the male Bramimond felt embarrassed by the kiss of all things through the shared senses.

"Dec..ision time.." Eyes glazed, the ancient Druid was having trouble thinking. The brand strengthened further as her desires were met. Gathering her thoughts, she remembered he said a time would come when she had to decide what she would do unlike her other half that went to lead the Dred Isle in a Magical Revolution. "Why now and so fast?"

"Because it is important." Hector did not remove his hold on her at all. "Behind this door is something that will cause trouble in the future or can help bring about change right now. I can only go inside if you help me. If not, I will have to use force to get in another way."

"So the decision is up to me?"

"Yes, do you want to be the one to help change the future of Elibe or not?" Hector felt the shift in the air. Giving choice to a person who was lost for so long seemed to gain a type of leeway with her further.

"Fine, I will do it for you this one time. But what is inside?" Touching the seal, it gave way and opened up. The power of the magic involved ran through Bramimond and she was afraid for a moment that he might cut her down. "Aah!" It was a bit of panic as she was not thinking clearly when dealing with this young man.

Hector only gave her ass a squeeze in encouragement. The robes the magic wielders wore were quite enticing. He still looked at her the same way he always had the last few days. Much to her happiness.

Fun aside, Hector switched to a serious demeanor as the next task required his full attention.

The stepped through a secret passage and moved to the shrine. This was not Hector's major task, but one he needed to do all the same. In the shrine was the Sword of Seals, the Binding Blade.

"Remember what we agreed upon." Bramimond reminded Hector before turning to keep a look out. 'Hartmut, I will learn your secrets before passing judgment upon you.'

*Shine!* Hector lit up with light as he used the Aspect of Chaos and grabbed the Sword of Seals. The sword released a pulse of magic that went upward, revealing the body of a young woman in robes.

Hector wasted no time in grabbing her and extracting what he needed from the sword. Forcing its power directly into the primordial Sea had its consequences but since he left some of it in the weapon, it shouldn't arouse any suspicion.

"Ugh!" Amped up with magic Hector pushed the ritual to extract the dragon from Idunn. 'This is better than the fate you would have woman!' Looking at her pitiful state and force, with a flash of the sentiment of Hartmut Hector steeled himself. "Haaa!"

*Crack!* the ground splintered as he forcefully ripped the dragon out of Idunn. If not for her selaed state and the boost of power from the sword he would have been in deep shit.

Barmimond watched everything passively, she had the task of keeping the magic signature hidden as long as possible.

.

A mother and child-

.

Once Hector recovered enough, the group moved further inward. As for the damage to the temple, they really could do nothing about it with the timetable they were working with. They moved to a sealed chamber deep in the temple long forgotten.

'Hmm, there are teleportation circles on the outside. Someone designed this room to vanish if certain conditions are triggered.' Bramimond kept an eye on the magic involved there and would make a move to interrupt the spell if need be.

Wielding the Ice Spear Maltet, Hector freed the seal, releasing a woman and her child on the altar once entering. Bramimond stared in fascination at the magic used. Only slightly upset that what he said was true about Hartmut marrying a dragoness and fathering a child. She was still dealing with the previous dragoness that was sealed in the sword just recently.

How many secrets were out there?

Seeing was believing after all. And right now Bramimond believed some answers were needed.

To seal one's child and wife because of their species was just crazy. If the entire time he didn't know she was a dragon and loved her, why not continue to live that way?

Immediately, the Altar lit up with magic symbols, gaining the Legendary caster's attention. The screams of the mother and child echoed through the building immediately after. Hopefully, Sigune and the mercenaries can keep them at bay if the worst happens, despite how deep they are in the place.

Bramimond and the now awake Idunn trembled as Hector stood passively at the process of the extraction. The image of dragons forming at the two sacrifices. The boy's hair turned blonde quickly, looking like that of his father. A sword formed in the hand of the woman, it was the Champion's Blade.

Hector was surprised at that but considering what he did to the Dragoness and her power, it was not to shocking she was able to wrestle some of it away.

The mother took longer as she was a full dragon and quite old. Her magic was fighting back, but a simple sentence pushed back her resistance. The Champion wanted to be finished with all the dragon business as soon as he could.

"I will kill your son if you do not stop, Melitha." As the dragoness gave up, she welcomed death. A final act of protecting her son was all she wanted. As the magic circle stopped, Hector yawned from fatigue. "Get up, woman, you are not dead. Just removed the dragon power inside you."

Groggily, Melitha opened her eyes and immediately looked at her son. Marveling at how much he looked like his late traitorous father. Feeling her body had changed but was still somewhat powerful, she didn't know what to do. Instincts brought her eyes to Bramimond with a little fear but it subsided seeing the kind look.

A small look at Idunn she felt a strange kinship. Her eyes then went wide seeing Aenir.

"Idunn, you will be in her care. Bramimond is to mentally young to be a mother. But she would make a good big sister for you." Hector smiled at the wide-eyed dragon girl. "She has been alive since the Scouring, might not have any good tales to tell you but.. better than nothing."

"Umm.. no. Stay with you." Idunn pulled on his cape while shaking her head. "You are Master, must be with you."

"Oh boy." Hector.. frowned a little. He understood it would take time for her soul to recover but.. he didn't want to well babysit someone who needed a lot of attention. "I go to the battlefield and all sorts of dangerous places. No place for someone who is recovering."

"Don't care." She was adamant about staying near him. "Safer with you."

"Well, she just will have to learn how to fight." Bramimond encouraged. "You sealed a portion of Idunn's dragon power to boost her recovery rate, so might as well teach her martial and magic skills. Just adopt her as a sibling yourself, and it will be fine."

"I guess, better chance at surviving than being with these two." Turning to leave, he was not about to forget the legendary weapons. "So, you saw what happened, do you think Bern deserves these weapons back?"

"No. Get rid of them I wanna say but trouble is still on the horizon." Bramimond said. "I am also not going back, coming with you. Pretty sure you need more capable people at your side that use magic. Especially with how imperfect your spells are."

"Ah great, so we have another one." Sigune muttered. A few Pegasus knights grumbled as well. "She better not try to jump the order."

"What order?"

"The order who gets to jump his bones in bed." Farina said. Ears only slightly reddening. "Hector has an appetite of a Dragon, and requires a few to keep him satisfied. So we have a rotation planning to breed him like a stud horse."

"How many women are you bedding?!" Bramimond's eyes were wide looking at the pegasus knights. "Not all of them right?!"

"No, that would be crazy. A lot of them have people they are courting. I am not a monster., plus I have slept with any of them." Hector walked off with Idunn following behind. "They are also joking with you. I haven't touched them." The mother and son were left on the Altar until Aenir helped them along to rest.

The decision to leave was immediate as Bramimond sensed people going through the main hall. Threy caused way to much of a ruckus for nothing to come of it.

It the blink of an eye, they teleported out of the room leaving nothing behind but a destroyed shrine and damaged rooms.

Immediately reappearing Hector's body was wracked with uncontrollable magic. Three dragons and a legendary weapon all in a span if half a day was beyond his limit. His skin blistered and veins wiggled like earthworms.

*Dush!* The Primordial Sea raged as the power coursing through Hector reshaped it. From the power taken from Idunn and the other dragons, his stats increase the same as when he took the power of the other Legendary weapons as well. But one other thing started to take place.

Hector gained the ability to produce War Dragons. Which went against his agreement with Tiamat. Knowing it was not done on purpose, Tiamat worked with Hector to get that ability under control and to change it.

Slowly inside the Primodrial Sea Dragons composed of magic took shape and started to wreak havoc. With a thought, Hector shunted everyone out, leaving himself, Tiamat, and Richard to fight.
