"It depends on when you decide to come back to the country," Wen Ran teased.
"What do you mean?" Bai Xiaoxiao immediately asked, dissatisfied.
Wen Ran extended her hand towards the milk beside her, and Bai Xiaoxiao picked it up and handed it to her. After drinking the milk, Wen Ran said, "When you come back, if my son and daughter are only two or three months old, how am I supposed to bring them to pick you up? Unless you decide to return a few years later, when they can walk, then I could bring them to greet you."
"Not a chance. I want to come back early and bond with my godson and goddaughter. Ideally, by that time, they'll be closer to me than to you."
Bai Xiaoxiao imagined a picture of two little bundles clinging to her, calling her 'godmother' with every breath, and a smug smile spread across her eyes and brows.
Wen Ran looked at the smile on her face and, seeming casual, asked, "Xiaoxiao, do you hate Luo Haofeng?"
