[Name] woke up looking at a white ceiling and something warm on his hand. Looking down he saw Aki and the numerous drips that were stuck to his arm. He continued looking around before gently sitting up, removing his hand from under Aki's face.
The movement had woken up Aki who had always been a light sleeper for most of his life, unlike his brother, who turned into a corpse when asleep.
"[Name]? Are you awake?"
"Y-yeah... How long have I been out for?"
"Not many, just two days."
[Name] nodded slowly at the information given but it was misinterpreted as despair by Aki. When he looked at his brother, all he saw was a lost expression with dull eyes, and the only time he only ever saw that look was when he and his brother had gotten into an argument and Aki made fun of him for his mental issues. Gently reaching out to his brother, Aki allowed himself to hug [Name] something, even after they had mended their relationships, that was rarely done. He never initiated the hugs.
"Are you alright, Aki?"
"Yes, I am well."

Ayano's knee bobbed furiously, annoying her seat partner, the plane was just landing and she could not wait any longer, she felt as if she was going to scream in frustration.
The plane ride still had 30 minutes left but it felt like it was an eternity until it finally hit the ground. As soon as the plane had settled down she bundled her things from the space above and got out of everyone's way as soon as she could so they could all leave the plane.
Feeling her frustration building, her fists balled up in annoyance at a mother and her child holding up everyone in the plane because the child wanted another glass of apple juice and was not throwing a tantrum because the cabin crew is refusing them. Most of the people there just looked at the situation with disbelief that someone so spoilt has a child too.
Her ire grew as she continued to watch the situation unfold and was almost tempted to push her way up to the mother and daughter pair and give them a scolding, she wanted to denounce them in public. Ayano felt her hand tingle with the urge to pull her hair out, she watched, standing stick still until finally someone else's voice but through the row.
Ayano's head whipped around, an elderly man was speaking.
"Can you move, please? Take the complaints to customer service and not the cabin crew? You're holding all of us up. We have places to be!"
The lady whirled around and glared at the elderly man, then leveled a glare at him before going back to the cabin crew.
Ayano felt her mouth move before she could control it, "Hurry the fuck up and move before I go over there and slap you and your child."
"Excuse me?!? Do you think you have any- "
"And you have even less right to talk to me! GET A FUCKING MOVE ON! I HAVE TO BE SOMEWHERE YOU ARSEHOLE!" Ayano burst and she never knew that shouting at someone was so satisfying.
Now everyone was looking at the pair, the girl started wailing and the mother's face was indignant but she reluctantly grabbed her things and started moving off the plane.
As soon Ayano had collected her luggage and exited the airport they got into one of Aki's cars, and were filled in on what had happened so far in Rosewood. When Harold mentioned the name of the facility, Ayano went into shock and was unresponsive for the majority of the car ride. Ayano had not completely shut down, but she felt disconnected between her and her body.
She was taken up to the room where [Name] and Aki were. Ayano almost stumbled through the door in her desperation, she stood stock still when she took in [Name]'s weak form. She had never seen him so pale or weak. Breathing hard, she forced out a smile, Ayano completely stopped when [Name] turned to look at her, she saw the softening of his eyes and launched herself into his arms.
Bawling.
"Shhh... I am fine now. Please, don't cry darling."
"W-we didn't know where you were and you were said to be dead as everyone saw you get taken away."
"It's alright. Shhh... come sit on the bed here."
He gently guided her to sit and sat up, smiling kindly at her, [Eye Colour] eyes warm.
"Come, tell me about your day. Anything that I have missed when I was gone?"
"I made some new friends at my workplace? Is that worth noting?"
"Of course, tell me about them."
They chattered about senseless and trivial things, talking about the weather, favorite coffee shops, and recent cases that she has been put on, how her clients were nothing short of annoying. She relished the way he smiled and how he cherished her happiness and joy, he held pride that she was coming out of her shell and getting to know her colleagues and making new friends. Although small things, [Name] was glad for the normality.
The current world he was in bore the most resemblance to his original world, however, he couldn't help but miss his world. Now here he was, talking to someone that was akin to his best friend. He doesn't even know if he was going to be able to go back.
