Abigail felt as though she had been away for a long time, but when she woke up, she realized she was still in the car.
The car had just slowly entered Rose Valley, and she looked around in a daze, feeling as if she was waking from another lifetime, when Brandon Piers, sitting beside her, noticed her confused state and rubbed her head with his large hand, "What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell somewhere?"
Abigail shook her head, her eyes fixated on Brandon Piers.
Feeling strangely observed, Brandon Piers touched his own face and asked, "Is there something wrong with me?"
Looking at the familiar handsome face before her, Abigail lowered her head and buried it in the man's chest, murmuring into his chest, "I just had a dream."
"Oh, what dream?" Brandon Piers embraced her, feeling that since waking up, Abigail's emotions were off.
