Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Vengeance Against a Tyrant; The True Power of The Dark Elves!

Hey there everyone! Sorry for the extended absence from this story, but I'm finally back to updating it! I had to figure out where I want the story to go from here, so that was part of why this story has been dormant for as long as it has been.

I've had time to think about the pairings and here are some that I am leaning towards (they may change depending on input from readers):

Superboy x Khanna

Sarai x Static/Blue Beetle

Roy x Power Girl

Baron x Empress

Trunks x Wonder Girl

Tarro x Blackfire

Daikon x Pan

Goten x Hailfire

Bulla x Zero

Miss Martian x Zerick

Or

Superboy x Sarai

Zero x Power Girl

Daikon x Hailfire

Tarro x Blackfire

Goten x Bulla

Aqualad x Pan

Chapter 4: Vengeance against a Tyrant; The True Power of the Dark Elves!

Chapter 4: Vengeance against a Tyrant; The True Power of the Dark Elves!

The sky above Themyscira darkened as Parademons descended in swarms, their screeches filling the air with promises of destruction. Standing alone against the first wave was Sarai Albanar, her consciousness now fully awakened within the body of the Amazon warrior Aleka. The transformation had left the Amazons in shock, but there was no time for explanations as the invasion began.

Sarai unsheathed her sword with fluid grace, the blade gleaming with ancient magic as she charged toward the oncoming horde. The Parademons attempted to surround her, a tactical error they would quickly regret. With a flourish of her free hand, flaming projectiles materialized around her like a corona of destruction before launching in every direction.

The Amazon warriors watched in awe as this transformed sister-in-arms moved with supernatural speed and precision. Parademons fell from the sky in droves, their bodies consumed by elven fire that burned with an intensity that seemed to feed on the very darkness of their souls.

"What manner of warrior has she become?" one Amazon whispered, her spear held slack in her grip.

Queen Hippolyta's voice cut through their wonder, commanding and resolute. "Sisters! We cannot stand idle while our home is under attack. Whatever has come over Aleka can be addressed once our island is secure."

Her words galvanized the Amazons into action. With battle cries that had echoed across millennia, the warriors of Themyscira charged into the fray, their weapons finding purpose in the defense of their sacred home. Yet even as they fought with legendary prowess, many eyes strayed to Sarai, whose combat style was unlike anything they had witnessed in their long history.

She no longer moved like an Amazon-there was something more fluid, more primal in her movements. The magic that swirled around her took forms they had never seen-not the blessings of their gods, but something older, something that seemed to draw power from the very fabric of reality itself.

Miles above the island, Darkseid observed the battle with narrowed eyes. The golden lights that had briefly illuminated the sky like ethereal searchlights had vanished, but in their wake, he sensed a disturbance-a magical resonance that stirred a memory he had long thought buried.

"How odd," he muttered to himself, arms crossed behind his back as he hovered in the air. "There shouldn't be anywhere near this amount of power saturating the area."

A thought crossed his mind, one he immediately dismissed with a scowl. "It's almost as if that race has somehow returned." He shook his head firmly. "Preposterous! I eradicated them myself."

Yet even as he rejected the possibility, a seed of doubt took root. The Arkynoreans-the Dark Elves-had been formidable opponents, masters of both ki and mana in ways that had impressed even him. Their extinction had been necessary precisely because of that potential threat.

His contemplation was interrupted by the approach of familiar energies-the Justice League's elite were converging on his position. Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Green Lantern, and the Flash-Earth's champions come to face him once again. A predictable response to his arrival.

"Let them come," he thought. "I'll deal with them the same way as always-quickly and decisively."

Racing toward Themyscira at breakneck speed, Wondergirl led Baron and Empress through the clouds, her heart pounding with concern for her Amazon sisters.

"I hope they're alright until we arrive," she said, eyes fixed on the horizon where smoke was beginning to rise from her homeland.

Baron, flying alongside her with the magical grace characteristic of his race, offered reassurance. "Not to worry, Wondergirl. We're almost there. Try to be patient just a bit longer."

She glanced at him, struck by how naturally he had assumed a leadership role despite being in an unfamiliar world. There was something comforting about his confidence, something that made her want to bridge the formality between them.

"Donna," she said suddenly.

Baron raised an eyebrow, questioning.

"Please, Baron, call me Donna when we're not on duty," she explained, a faint blush coloring her cheeks. "That is my real name, after all. And... I'd like it if you used it."

His expression softened at her request. "Donna... alright then."

Behind them, Empress suppressed a knowing smile. The attraction between Wondergirl and the elven warrior was obvious to anyone with eyes-the way Donna's gaze lingered on him, how she sought his approval and input. Under different circumstances, Empress might have teased her friend about it, but now wasn't the time. They had a tyrant to face and a newly awakened ally to assist.

As they approached Themyscira, the scale of the invasion became apparent. Parademons swarmed the island like locusts, while the golden-lit figure they presumed to be Sarai stood at the center of the chaos, a whirlwind of destructive magic emanating from her position.

"There she is," Baron said, his expression grave yet determined. "Sarai Albanar, daughter of the Elven High General. If she's fully awakened, then the others must be stirring as well."

"What exactly does that mean for Earth?" Empress asked, her voice barely audible over the rushing wind.

Baron's eyes gleamed with an ancient light. "It means Darkseid faces not only Earth's heroes today but the vengeance of a race he thought erased from existence. The Dark Elves have awakened-and we have centuries of rage to unleash."

Meanwhile, in Metropolis, chaos reigned as Parademons engaged with the scattered forces of the Justice League. Citizens fled in terror as buildings crumbled under the assault, the familiar scenario of an invasion playing out once again.

But this time, something was different.

Throughout the city, individuals suddenly froze in place, golden light surrounding them as ancient consciousnesses awakened. A construction worker dropped his tools, his skin darkening and ears elongating as the spirit of an Elven warrior took control. A school teacher's eyes flashed from brown to brilliant amber as she abandoned her classroom, magic crackling at her fingertips. A homeless man sleeping in an alley rose with newfound purpose, his raggedy clothes transforming into elegant armor as he took to the sky.

One by one, the Dark Elves revealed themselves, emerging from their human hosts like butterflies from chrysalises.

Above the city, Darkseid was about to engage Superman when a blast of concentrated mana struck him from behind. He turned, surprised by both the attack and the power behind it, to find Odyn hovering there, flanked by Hyatan, Supergirl, Power Girl, and the other heroes from Mount Justice.

"Remember us, tyrant?" Hyatan called, her voice carrying across the battlefield. "The race you thought consigned to memory? We have not forgotten you."

Darkseid's eyes widened momentarily before narrowing in contempt. "Arkynoreans. So some of you survived after all."

"Not survived," Odyn corrected, magic swirling around him like a living storm. "Evolved. You taught us the meaning of hatred, Darkseid. We've had centuries to perfect it."

The tyrant sneered. "Your race was weak before. What makes you think the outcome will be any different now?"

Hyatan's laughter was cold and merciless. "Because this time, we are not fighting for survival." Her eyes glowed with intensity that matched the Omega Beams Darkseid was famous for. "We are fighting for vengeance. And we have the one thing you never accounted for."

"And what is that?" Darkseid demanded.

The air around them seemed to vibrate as Dark Elves throughout the city channeled their power in unison, creating a network of magical energy that connected them across distances.

"Unity," Odyn answered simply. "Something a tyrant like you could never understand."

With that, the battle was joined-not just between Darkseid and Earth's heroes, but between a destroyer of worlds and the ghosts of his past sins. The true power of the Dark Elves was about to be revealed, and not even a god of Apokolips could predict the outcome.

The Power of Vengeance: Dark Elves Unleashed

Battle on Themyscira: Sarai Unleashed

The shores of Themyscira, once peaceful and serene, now echoed with the clash of steel and the screams of Parademons. At the center of the chaos stood Sarai Albanar, her borrowed Amazon body moving with a lethal grace that transcended ordinary combat training.

"Form up!" Queen Hippolyta commanded her warriors, organizing them into the phalanx formations that had served the Amazons for millennia.

But Sarai fought alone, a whirlwind of destruction that defied conventional battle tactics. Her sword-now transformed from Aleka's simple Amazon blade into an ornate elven weapon with runes etched along its length-cut through Parademons as if they were made of parchment rather than alien flesh and bone.

When a squadron of the creatures attempted to overwhelm her from above, Sarai extended her free hand skyward. "Luminarc Cascade," she intoned, her voice resonating with magical power.

The air above her shimmered before erupting into hundreds of light arrows that homed in on the Parademons with unerring precision. Each projectile pierced through multiple targets before dissipating, leaving smoking husks to fall from the sky.

An Amazon warrior nearby gasped as she witnessed the display. "By the gods, she fights with the fury of Artemis herself!"

Sarai glanced at the warrior briefly. "Your gods did not teach me this," she replied, her tone neither arrogant nor dismissive-simply matter-of-fact. "This is the magic of my people, honed across a thousand years of civilization before your kind had even learned to forge bronze."

She punctuated her statement by driving her palm toward an approaching Parademon. No projectile emerged, but the creature suddenly froze mid-flight, its body contorting as if caught in an invisible vise. With a sharp twist of her wrist, Sarai compressed the magical field around it, reducing the demon to a crushed mass that dropped lifelessly to the ground.

Hippolyta herself could not help but be impressed. In all her centuries of life, she had witnessed many forms of combat, but the Elven magic wielded by this being who had taken over Aleka's body was something else entirely-raw, primordial power channeled with scientific precision.

"Behind you!" the queen called out as a particularly large Parademon descended on Sarai's blind spot.

Without even turning, Sarai flicked her fingers backward. A spiraling helix of golden energy erupted from her fingertips, drilling through the creature's chest and expanding outward to disintegrate its entire form.

"I sense all living energy around me," Sarai explained calmly, finally turning to meet Hippolyta's gaze. "It's one of the fundamental techniques of Arkynorean combat magic-we perceive the flow of both ki and mana in our surroundings."

A distant boom drew their attention skyward, where the clouds parted to reveal three approaching figures: Wondergirl, Baron, and Empress, their silhouettes backlit by the sun.

Sarai's stern expression softened slightly at the sight of Baron. "Reinforcements," she said, the hint of a smile playing at her lips. "Now we can take this battle beyond mere defense."

The Connection Between Worlds

As they approached Themyscira, Baron's expression grew increasingly focused. He could sense Sarai's magical signature from miles away-fierce and unmistakable, like a beacon calling to his own Arkynorean soul.

"Sarai is fully awakened," he informed Donna and Empress. "The host body has been completely synchronized with her consciousness."

Donna glanced at him with concern. "What does that mean for Aleka? The Amazon whose body she's using?"

Baron's gaze softened as he met her worried eyes. "Do not fear for your sister, Donna. Our reincarnation magic is designed to be temporary-a means to an end, not a permanent possession. Once our mission is complete, Sarai will release her hold, and your friend will return, perhaps even stronger for having carried an Elven soul."

His use of her name did not go unnoticed. Donna felt a warmth spread through her chest that had nothing to do with the exertion of flight. There was something in the way he addressed her directly-an intimacy that transcended their brief acquaintance.

"You speak of magic as if it were a science," Empress observed, watching their interaction with interest.

Baron nodded. "To the Arkynoreans, it is both. We do not separate the mystical from the logical-they are but different expressions of the same universal forces." He hesitated before adding, "It is part of what made our civilization so advanced, and ultimately what made us a target for Darkseid."

"What was it like?" Donna asked softly. "Your world, before..."

The pain that flashed across Baron's face was ancient yet fresh. "Arkynor was... magnificent. Cities of crystal and living wood that stretched into the clouds. Academies where both martial skills and magical arts were studied with equal reverence. Our capital, Luminara, was said to glow even in the darkest night, powered by the collective mana of its citizens."

His voice dropped to almost a whisper. "I was barely past my first century when Darkseid came. Old enough to fight, too young to have mastered the higher arts that might have made a difference."

Donna's hand moved of its own accord, reaching out to touch his arm in a gesture of comfort. "I'm sorry."

Baron looked at her hand, then up to her face with an expression of wonder. "In my culture, physical contact was reserved for family, close friends, and... life-partners," he explained, his voice gentle rather than reproachful.

Empress cleared her throat awkwardly. "Um, should I fly ahead and give you two a moment?"

Donna blushed furiously, starting to withdraw her hand, but Baron caught it in his own, his touch feather-light yet somehow grounding.

"It is a custom I'm willing to adapt," he said, his eyes never leaving hers. "After all, we are in a new world now."

The moment was interrupted as they crossed the invisible boundary that protected Themyscira, the island's mystical defenses recognizing Donna and permitting their entry. Below them, the battle raged-Amazons fighting with disciplined ferocity while Sarai carved a path of magical destruction through the Parademon ranks.

"Let's continue this conversation when we're not about to enter combat," Donna suggested, her cheeks still flushed.

Baron nodded, releasing her hand but maintaining the connection with his eyes. "I look forward to it, Donna of Themyscira."

The Nature of Elven Power

In Metropolis, the confrontation between the awakened Dark Elves and Darkseid's forces escalated from skirmish to full-scale battle. Throughout the city, buildings became battlegrounds as Elven magic clashed with Apokoliptian technology.

Hovering above the Daily Planet, Odyn faced Darkseid directly, flanked by Hyatan, Supergirl, and Power Girl. The tyrant's eyes gleamed with Omega energy, ready to unleash his devastating beams.

"You think your resurrection trick impresses me?" Darkseid sneered. "I've destroyed your kind once before."

Odyn remained unnervingly calm. "You mistake our awakening for the limit of our power. Allow me to educate you on what you truly face."

He raised both hands, palms upward as if lifting an invisible weight. Throughout Metropolis, every awakened Dark Elf momentarily paused in their individual battles, their eyes glowing in unison as they responded to an unspoken command.

"The first principle of Arkynorean magic," Odyn explained, his voice carrying an authority beyond his years, "is that mana never truly exists in isolation. All magical energy is connected across the fabric of reality."

Golden threads of energy began to materialize between the scattered Elves, forming a complex web that stretched across the city. Each intersection in this magical network pulsed with increasing brightness.

"The second principle," Hyatan continued, her hands moving in intricate patterns that seemed to strengthen the growing web, "is that unified purpose amplifies power exponentially. What one Elf can channel alone, ten can multiply a hundredfold when their intent aligns."

Superman, who had been engaging a group of Parademons nearby, paused in mid-air, recognizing that something unprecedented was occurring. "What are they doing?" he asked, directing his question to no one in particular.

To his surprise, it was Supergirl who answered. "They're creating a mana network-connecting their magical energy across distance. Odyn showed me glimpses of this in his memories... but I never imagined it on this scale."

Darkseid's expression darkened as he began to comprehend the threat. Without warning, he fired his Omega Beams directly at Odyn's chest.

The destructive energy never reached its target. Instead, it collided with a shield of golden light that had materialized a foot from Odyn's body-not a simple barrier, but a complex magical construct that absorbed the Omega energy, analyzed it, and redirected it into the growing network.

"The third principle of our magic," Odyn continued as if the attack had never occurred, "is that energy cannot be destroyed-only transformed. Your Omega force is impressive, Darkseid, but it is still energy, subject to the same universal laws that govern all power."

The network of golden threads suddenly pulsed brightly as the Omega energy was distributed throughout it, each Dark Elf in the city momentarily glowing with Darkseid's own power.

"And the final principle," Hyatan concluded, her eyes now blazing with golden fire, "is that what can be transformed can also be returned."

With a synchronized gesture from every Elf in the network, the transformed energy surged back toward Darkseid-not as Omega Beams, but as thousands of golden spears that converged on him from all directions.

Even with his godlike reflexes, Darkseid could not evade them all. Dozens penetrated his normally impervious skin, driving him backward through several buildings before he managed to stabilize himself, his body smoking from the assault.

Supergirl stared in shock. "They actually hurt him."

"Darkseid has a fundamental misconception about our race," Hyatan explained, her voice carrying no triumph, only grim determination. "He believes we are defined by our magic-that we are merely spellcasters who happened to also develop physical strength."

"The truth," Odyn added, "is that we are beings of dual nature-equally at home in the realms of ki and mana. Our bodies generate both energies simultaneously, allowing us to bridge the gap between the physical and mystical worlds."

To demonstrate, Odyn closed his hand into a fist that glowed with golden energy. In a movement almost too fast for even Kryptonian eyes to follow, he teleported directly in front of Darkseid and delivered a punch that combined physical force with concentrated magical energy.

The impact created a thunderclap that shattered windows for blocks around them. Darkseid, caught by surprise, was sent hurtling toward the ground, creating a crater when he impacted.

"That," Power Girl said with a low whistle, "was not just magic."

"No," Hyatan agreed. "It was what we call Harmony Strike-the perfect balance of physical and magical force, delivered at the moment when both energies resonate at the same frequency."

Before Darkseid could recover, Roy and several other Elves surrounded the crater, each taking a position at a specific point that formed a perfect octagon. They began chanting in an ancient language that seemed to make the very air vibrate.

"They're casting a Prismatic Seal," Hyatan explained to the Kryptonians. "A containment spell that will temporarily neutralize Darkseid's connection to the Source-the wellspring of his power."

"Will it hold him?" Superman asked, having flown up to join them.

"For a time," Hyatan replied honestly. "Long enough for us to implement the next phase of our counterattack."

As she spoke, the golden network connecting the Elves throughout the city began to pulse in a rhythmic pattern, almost like a heartbeat. Each Dark Elf, regardless of their location, moved in perfect synchronization-a collective consciousness guiding individual actions.

"This is the true power of the Arkynoreans," Odyn explained, noting the awe on the heroes' faces. "Not merely our individual abilities, impressive though they may be, but our capacity for perfect unity. What one knows, all can know. What one sees, all can see."

"It's beautiful," Supergirl whispered, her eyes tracking the flowing patterns of light.

Odyn turned to her, his expression softening slightly. "This is what Darkseid sought to destroy-not just our lives, but our connection to each other and to the fabric of reality itself."

Below them, Darkseid roared with rage as the Prismatic Seal tightened around him, rainbow-hued barriers constraining his movements and dampening his powers. He strained against them, causing fractures to appear in the magical construct.

"The seal is breaking already," Superman observed with concern.

"As expected," Hyatan replied calmly. "But it has served its purpose-to demonstrate that he is not invulnerable to our methods."

She turned to address all the heroes gathered nearby. "Now the true battle begins. Darkseid will be cautious, wary of our combined strength. He will retreat, regroup, and devise countermeasures."

"Then we need to press our advantage," Green Lantern suggested, his ring glowing with readiness.

"No," Odyn countered. "We need to be strategic. This first engagement was merely to establish parameters-to show him that the vengeance of the Dark Elves is not a threat to be dismissed."

He looked toward the struggling form of Darkseid, his expression resolute. "The next phase will target something he values far more than his pride-his power base. We're taking the fight to Apokolips itself."

Converging Paths

As the battle on Themyscira turned in favor of the Amazons and their Elven ally, Donna, Baron, and Empress landed near Sarai, who had just dispatched a final group of Parademons with a spinning vortex of magical energy.

"Sarai," Baron greeted her with a formal nod. "It's good to see you awakened."

The Elven warrior in Aleka's body returned the gesture. "Baron. You've grown stronger since our last meeting." Her gaze shifted to Donna and Empress. "And you've brought allies."

"This is Donna Troy of Themyscira," Baron introduced, a subtle warmth in his voice when speaking her name, "and Empress of Young Justice."

Sarai's eyes narrowed slightly as she observed the way Baron stood slightly closer to Donna than protocol would dictate. "I see you've adapted quickly to this world's customs," she commented, her tone neutral but her gaze knowing.

Donna stepped forward, addressing the situation directly. "Aleka is a sister Amazon. Will she return when your mission is complete?"

Sarai's expression softened marginally. "Your concern for your sister is admirable. Yes, she will return. Her consciousness is preserved within me-sleeping, but aware on some level. She is a strong warrior; her body was compatible with my soul precisely because of that strength."

"Speaking of the mission," Empress interjected, "what's happening in Metropolis? We haven't been able to contact the others since arriving on the island."

Sarai closed her eyes briefly, her connection to the Elven network allowing her to perceive events happening miles away. "The network has been established. Darkseid has been temporarily contained, but it won't last. Odyn plans to take the battle to Apokolips."

"That's... ambitious," Donna said carefully.

"It's necessary," Baron countered. "Darkseid will never stop coming for Earth now that he knows we've reawakened here. The only way to end this is to confront him at the source of his power."

A telepathic message rippled through the Elven network, causing both Sarai and Baron to straighten simultaneously.

"Odyn has called for all awakened Elves to converge on Metropolis," Sarai announced. "We're to prepare for the journey to Apokolips."

Hippolyta approached the group, her armor bearing the scars of battle but her regal bearing undiminished. "If Darkseid is your target, then the Amazons stand with you. He has been an enemy of Themyscira since time immemorial."

"Your offer is appreciated, Queen Hippolyta," Sarai replied with genuine respect, "but this path leads beyond Earth. The vengeance of the Arkynoreans is ours to claim."

"And yet," Donna interjected, meeting Baron's eyes, "you'll need guides who understand this world and its heroes. You've been dormant for centuries-the universe has changed in your absence."

Baron held her gaze, something unspoken passing between them. After a moment, he nodded. "Donna speaks wisely. Our knowledge has gaps that could prove fatal in battle. We would welcome representatives from Earth's defenders to accompany us."

"Then it's settled," Donna declared. "I'm coming with you."

"As am I," Empress added firmly.

Hippolyta studied her adopted daughter with pride mingled with concern. "Very well. Themyscira will prepare defenses in your absence, should Darkseid attempt to strike elsewhere while your attention is diverted."

As they prepared to depart, Baron moved close to Donna, speaking softly so only she could hear. "This journey will be dangerous beyond anything you've faced before."

She met his gaze without flinching. "I'm an Amazon, Baron. Danger doesn't frighten me."

"It's not your courage I question," he replied, his voice dropping even lower. "It's my ability to focus on our mission when your safety is at stake."

The admission hung between them-a vulnerability revealed in the aftermath of battle that spoke volumes about how quickly their connection had formed.

"Then we'll protect each other," Donna said simply. "That's what allies do."

"Allies," Baron repeated, testing the word. "Is that what we are, Donna of Themyscira?"

Before she could respond, Sarai called for their attention. "We must move. Metropolis awaits."

As they took to the skies once more, the question remained unanswered but not forgotten-a promise of conversations to come, assuming they all survived what lay ahead.

The Gathering Storm

In Metropolis, the Justice League and the Dark Elves established a temporary headquarters in the Hall of Justice. Maps and holographic displays showed the known geography of Apokolips, while Elven scholars conferenced with Earth's scientists to develop strategies against Darkseid's forces.

In a quieter corner, Supergirl found Odyn meditating, golden energy flowing around him in delicate patterns.

"May I join you?" she asked hesitantly.

His eyes opened, the intensity of his gaze softening slightly upon seeing her. "Of course, Kara Zor-El."

She sat cross-legged across from him, studying the intricate tattoos that adorned his visible skin. "Earlier, when you combined physical and magical attacks against Darkseid... could you teach me how to do that?"

Odyn tilted his head, considering her request. "Kryptonians naturally channel solar energy through your bodies, converting it to physical strength. It's not entirely dissimilar from how we channel mana. With the right training, you might be capable of something comparable."

"Really?" Kara's eyes lit up with excitement.

"The principles are universal," Odyn explained. "Energy is energy, regardless of its source. The key is learning to direct it consciously rather than instinctively."

Without warning, he reached out and took her hands in his. The contact sent a jolt through Kara's system-not unpleasant, but intense, like static electricity without the shock.

"Close your eyes," he instructed. "Feel the solar energy in your cells. Now, instead of letting it flow naturally, try to direct it-gather it in your core, then extend it outward through your arms."

Kara followed his guidance, surprised to feel a tingling sensation traveling from her center toward her hands. When she opened her eyes, her fingers were glowing with a faint blue light-different from the golden energy the Elves manipulated, but unmistakably power made visible.

"I did it!" she exclaimed.

Odyn smiled-a rare expression that transformed his normally serious features. "You have remarkable potential, Kara Zor-El. With practice, you could channel this energy into focused attacks, shields, even enhanced healing."

He hesitated before adding, "My mother's suggestion about our... arrangement... it wasn't just political. Our peoples have always had a natural affinity. Kryptonians and Arkynoreans-two races blessed with dual energies."

Kara blushed slightly, remembering Hyatan's marriage proposal. "I'm still processing that part. On Earth, people usually get to know each other before discussing marriage."

"A sensible approach," Odyn acknowledged. "And one I'm willing to respect. We have time."

"Do we?" Kara asked, suddenly serious. "We're about to take the fight to Darkseid's doorstep. That's not exactly a low-risk mission."

Odyn's hands tightened slightly around hers. "All the more reason to speak honestly now. I find you... fascinating, Kara Zor-El. Your strength is obvious, but there's a compassion in you that many warriors lack. It reminds me of what our people valued most-power tempered by wisdom."

Before Kara could respond, the doors to the chamber opened as Baron, Donna, Sarai, and Empress arrived from Themyscira. The moment broken, Odyn released her hands and rose to greet the newcomers.

Kara remained seated for a moment longer, looking at her hands where the blue energy had now faded. Something had awakened within her during that brief connection-a potential she hadn't known existed, and a curiosity about the enigmatic Elf who had revealed it.

As the gathered heroes and Elves began to discuss their assault on Apokolips, one thing became clear: this was no longer just about Earth's defense or even the Dark Elves' vengeance. It was about redefining the balance of power in the universe-proving that even a god could be held accountable for genocide.

The true power of the Dark Elves was not in their magic alone, but in their ability to forge connections-between energies, between worlds, and between hearts that had previously been strangers. In that power lay their greatest hope against the darkness that awaited them.
