The proceedings had begun in a rather lackluster way, with a calendar of events being read to me, seeing as I had been gone for two years, and some. The fact that I was being told wasn't the problem though, it was the sheer mundanity of it all.
I was being told who had joined our family, or rather, those that had come to be under our banner, a boring process to say the least. I was also being told of all the purchases that had been made, seeing as I was not able to green light the projects.
In all that I was hearing though, one thing managed to pique my interest, what the world had been told of my absence. I was apparently, even after two years, still exploring the ruin, and I hadn't left the site seeing as I was so infatuated with what I had found.
