"Your Majesty, please forgive me." the old man roared for mercy, but Emperor Paddu didn't care.
"You seem to have forgotten that I am not one to forgive small mistakes. I don't care about your business so go and hand back the land you took or you die today. Whatever you choose is your decision." said Emperor Paddu in his usual calm tone.
"Your Majesty, the land will return tomorrow." the old man cried helplessly.
Death is too terrible for him right now, there is his wife who is sick while his child is somewhere. The only son who was the old man's last hope disappeared like a wave.
"Then go." expelled Emperor Paddu.
The old man limped and lowered his head. Today there is no hope, but his wife's recovery is number one. The last thing the old man could do was sell his two daughters to someone who could sort things out as quickly as possible.
