Ange raised a finger, and the Little Ghost appeared, burping out a fist-sized 'stone'.
"Is this the power nucleus of that shadow? Could it really be the Undying Divine Fire?" Negris asked in shock.
The Little Ghost had a unique ability: it could condense the powers it swallowed into physical objects. Before, it had consumed quite a bit of Divine Power, and just now Ange had thrown half of the shadow to it. Now, it spat out a stone, which was clearly the condensed essence of that half-shadow's power.
They needed fire now, and Ange had the Little Ghost release this thing. The most probable candidate was the Undying Divine Fire.
That shadow was actually the Undying Divine Fire? Personally burning down someone's granary? How humiliating. Doesn't it have any fanatics, divine envoys, or spokespersons to act on its behalf?
Ange took out the Little Flame and pointed towards the 'stone'.
The Little Flame looked at Ange, then at the stone, and incredulously pointed at itself.
