Vladimars's mouth snapped shut with an audible click. He pressed his hand against his face, his eyes closed and expression drawn. "Descendant of divinity. The one who lights the way?" He laughed humorlessly, his body racking and doubling over from the force of it as he stopped with a strangled sob. "Is that why I failed before? Why my memories were locked away?" He glared up at the goddess, his eyes blazing with a crimson light, his hair floating up as the air charged with energy like the moments before a lightning strike. "Why I had to die?" He voice cracked like thunder.
