A bit over a week passed before any signs of intelligent life appeared before the group. It started as a noticeable cluster of structures that appeared tiny due to how high they flew. That illusion disappeared after they descended.
Slight confusion appeared in Noahs mind at what he saw. They had crossed the deadly plain a couple night's before, and soon the usual sight of vegetation stood erect around them. The trees weren't as humongous as the ones on the continent's edge, but they were great in size nonetheless.
It was nighttime again, and to their surprise, rather than encountering lights to show that entities dwelled within thkse structures, they were met with total silence and darkness.
Surprisingly, Lady Edna took interest in that scenery and descended completely; landing within the town's walls.
