Days past and everything continued as per everyone's schedule and plans. The only thing going out of the ordinary was the unpredictable weather. The long waited and anticipated winter had seemed to just be a momentary facade nature had put up to deceive its oblivious inhabitants.
Today the weather had gone from being mildly cold to unbelievably hot. The sun was up and burning, sending it rays down the earth like it was enraged by the unfiltered pleasure to its previous absence. Due to the weather, everyone was forced to dress more skimpily than usual. Only people like the stone faced CEO Devon could still dare to put on a full office regalia, comprising of a two buttoned tuxedo, a dark blue suit pant, white long sleeved shirt, a pokadot neck tie, tightly fastened to his neck without the slight chance of penetration of breeze. The white cufflinks elegantly holding the wrists of shirt together, revealed his thin fair wrists that had an addition of a limited edition Armani watch.
Gisele stared at the young man seated on the dinning with a little amount of amusement. Even she didn't dare keep up to her conservative style due to the heat but here he was looking like a perfectly wrapped up steamed buns.
She on the other hand, put on a loosed floral gown that slight passed her mid-thigh probably by a couple inches. From the halved length of the dress, her thin legs could be seen glittering under the morning sun, the thin material danced over her skin as she walked yet it perfectly accentuated her body's natural curves to an admirable limit. The white coloured fabric blended well with her fair skin and even gave room for her burnt brown hair flowing on her back to be easily noticed. The red flowery print was a contrast to her almost pale skin still, it lightened up her whole body. Her hair was let to fall on her back, a red rose pin was placed on the edge of her head. She might look sophisticated but the spaghetti hand gown played a huge role in bringing out her unbridled youthful age and liveliness.
"Miss" Aunty Lou greeted as she got to the table.
"Aunty Lou, you look energetic even under this weather. I must seriously relay my admiration for your ability." She joked in tow too. Taking her seat without the slightest care for the man seated across from her.
"I'm an elderly lady already. Such weather conditions are not new to me" The elderly lady answered then she noticed how little Gisele was wearing today. No doubt, the young miss could not align with the hot weather. "Are you going out?" She asked not failing to notice the little details that proved her dressing was meant for an outing. Though she was casually dressed, the five inch stiletto on her feet and the pearl bead necklace on her neck was not something, one would wear to stay at home.
Gisele nodded "I've been invited out by a friend." She replied them showed a conflicted expression. "It seems to be a formal occasion but with the sun, I seriously can not find the courage to put on anything thicker than this. I'ld probably pass out from the heat. Do you think my dressing is not suitable to wear there?"
Aunty Lou looked at the girl from head to toe. She was really not dressed in a formal outfit but it made no difference whatsoever. The Noble aura surrounding the girl even in her near-summer dress made the piece of fabric look like it was meant to be worn by royals and dignitaries. A look of dignation flashed past the head maid's eyes.
How could the miss posses such an aura, could it be that her ancestry was really from that of royals?
The woman immediately shook her head to drive away the distracting thoughts.
"It's more than perfect Miss. You especially look lovely in it" This was the truth. The girl looked very beautiful. Even in the heat, the sun gave the girls smooth skin a special glow up like she was a picture that had been filtered. Aside that she had overhead the girl talk on the phone with the young master's mother. The Eldest lady had asked the miss out for an outing to an auction, so she knew where her destination was. The dress was just appropriate for the occasion.
Gisele nodded and felt relieved. Aunty Lou had an impressive fashion sense so she honestly believed her when she recommended an outfit for her.
The breakfast continued in silence. Gisele focused on subtly chewing her food while glancing through the trending news online. Probably because of her impeding involvement in the entertainment industry, she tried her best to stay on top of the trending news for the industry on the internet.
There was nothing new, everyone was clearly just riled up about the fast approaching fashion Show and the even faster approaching Erasmus final audition. Netizens and angered fans of the disqualified Celebrities were amounting pressure on Erasmus and GXJ to make the final audition a live audition for all to see as they felt some shady deal had been done to have disqualified some especially 'exquisite' beautiful celebrities from the numbers.
The pressure was so much it was starting to cause an online traffic. The company site was getting slammed by millions of messages. If it was any other company they would seriously be forced into agreeing to their demands but who was GXJ?
The Supreme Fashion King!
The company simply deleted all the comments and messages and warned the fans with an official Statement. Erasmus was equally one of the high-end magazines in the country so their threat held no substance before them. The plans for the audition remained as it was, with one one change to the clauses. The audition was going to be videoed and then the winner would be announced alongside the release of the audition videos.
This change had no effect to Gisele. It was almost like it wasn't added in the first place. She dropped the phone and continued her breakfast.
The room's silence was then disrupted by a sound of footsteps. Butler Ken came in with an envelope placed on a silver tray. Subconsciously Devon looked up at him, expecting to retrieve the message that had been sent to him but the Butler's destination had a slight shift and he ended up moving to Gisele instead.
"Miss, there is a letter for you" He announced respectfully.
Surprise showed on Gisele's face. No one knew she was married to Devon so who was this someone that was sending her letters? Her thoughts went to the Andres family but that option was immediately cancelled with viable reasons. The Andres family could never act so civilized to send her letters. If they really needed her for anything, they would probably just stand at the gate and cause a ruckus till she was dragged out. Sending a letter was definitely not in any of their characters.
So who was it?
She picked up the envelope with great curiosity. The curiousity intensified when she saw her name written in full as the receiver yet the sender had inserted no name at the envelope. Surprisingly the letter seemed to have also been tampered with, like someone had opened it before her. Gisele gave Butler Ken an inquisitive look that asked if he had anything to do with it but he also returned a confused shrug.
Slowly her him fingers peeled away the envelope and the plain white paper was brought out. Red beautiful flowers were drawn at the edges of the paper and a few tiny colourful butterfly.
"???"
Whoever sent the letters was surely a romantist. She didn't need to read the letter to know this. The little details told about this. Not only the drawing but the folded piece of paper seemed to have been bathed in a ton buckets of sweet perfume before it was sent over. The whole room was soon filled with the scent that could even submerge the savoury smell of the foods still sprawled over the long dining table. Somehow this sender's antic brought a sense of deja Vu to her.
"..."
Gisele started the letter with an amused expression but before she got to the end, her face had a surprised yet Disbelieving expression on it. By the time she got to the last line. She looked up at the Butler with an undescribable expression
"This... Who dropped this?" She asked in a slightly shaky voice.
Butler Ken was slightly shaken by her expression that looked like she was about to shed tears, it took him a few seconds to stabilize his composure
"a young man brought this_" at the early hours of the morning. He never got to say the last line as the girl had stood up and sprinted out of the place. The eagerness and worry on her face was clear for them to see but sure it had been misunderstood by a certain someone as longing.
Aunty Lou and Butler Ken shared a look amongst themselves before curiously picking up the letter to take a look. After reading the letter their expression showed a degree of uncertainty and anxiousness.
Amidst the ambiguous air, a slight chill filled the air. The expression of the man at the other end of the table was unsightly. The air round him was rigid that even the wind seemed to have been paused on his body.
With a look to the elderly Butler. Butler Ken involuntarily began reading out the content of the letter.
