Chapter 72
So it goes like this. I had woken up from a coma, and nothing in my world made sense anymore. About a year ago, I had a battle with one of the senseis from Australia. It was a friendly bout before the national competition in taekwondo. I remember slipping near the judges' table while preparing, but I chose to ignore the injury and continued the battle. Unfortunately, the sensei delivered a fatal blow, hoping I would dodge or at least that's what the newspaper article said. I don't recall any of this, but thus far, in this world or life, I am Zamin's wife instead of Omar's.
The last thing I was told was that everything I had brought up was from a world I made up while asleep. That world had kept me asleep. None of it made sense...it felt real. I held Omar, Zamin was arrested, Owais had gotten married, and I was indeed a kickboxing star before any of the tragedies...unfortunately, they were not real.
"Are you ready to go?" Zamin's voice cut through my thoughts.
