"What about you, Dad?" Liss asked. "What's your wish?"
"Me?" Ash paused slightly, then said after thinking, "My true wish, even the All-Known Weaver can't fulfill, and I wouldn't dare let Him fulfill it either."
If he wished to the All-Known Weaver to return to his hometown, setting aside that the All-Known Weaver couldn't fulfill it, the real terror would be if it were fulfilled—if the Divine Lord's gaze turned to that clear blue planet, Ash, as the one leading the way, would become a sinner deserving of a thousand deaths.
