A little boy in a penguin overall, carrying a penguin backpack almost the size of his body, peeked quietly from the corner by the door.
"Xiaobao is sorry for making the baby cry," the boy said, his voice filled with remorse. "I didn't mean to break the flower pot."
Lucianna went over to the familiar boy to whom she had taught horseback riding just a few days ago. She was surprised to see him in Bayside Garden. She bent down carefully so as not to agitate the baby in her arms, who was now as wide awake as an owl and had stopped crying.
