Chapter 491 - Chapter 491

Friday, December 13th, 2047

Imperial Academy of Excellence, Inverness, Scotland.

The campus of the Imperial Academy of Excellence was counted amongst the most beautiful campuses in the entire Europe, all thanks to its 2957 Acres of land, which was mostly forested and had several lakes and hills in its boundaries.

On the Campus, there was a small town called Royal Avenue, where hostels, which were built in the image of medieval castles, existed. And in the Town's square were several cafeterias and even bars, where the students met and spent their evenings and mornings.

Outside the Town were several sports facilities, including football, hockey, cricket, polo, and rugby fields, all of which were hidden in the woods, giving the place an even more surreal feeling.

The School Buildings were far away from the Town, all located close to the lakes, and all of them looked like Palaces, staying true to the Academy's name.

In addition to being a beautiful place, it was also one of the most prestigious Academies in the World, a desirable choice for the children of Nobility, Children of Wealth, and also the geniuses with no background who got in on merit and wished to forge ties with the higher class of the world.

Despite its vastness, only a total of 1560 Students attended the Academy every year, and counting in the staff, guards, groundsmen, less than 2500 people resided on the Campus. So, other than the Town's square and the Schools, it was hard to come across another human being.

The numbers were especially lower at this time of the year. Even the Town's Square seemed very desolate since most students were on month-long Winter Holidays, and only a few hundred people stayed behind, mostly those who came here to live and study from outside Europe.

On the finely built cobblestone streets of the Town, a pair of a young girl and a boy, wearing their equestrian uniforms, rode their horses towards their residence, smiling and chatting happily.

There was still time in the sunset, but they had to come back early and return their horses to the stables inside the Castles.

"Thank you for staying back, Olivia." The young boy sincerely said, wearing a light smile on his face.

His repose made the girl helplessly smile, who could clearly see that her friend was growing more and more lonely as time went by.

"You should give your mother a call, Roy." She suggested for the umpteenth time, and as always, the boy shook his head.

"I am fine." He chuckled, making her sigh, and she wondered again why he always refused to make a call back home.

Olivia stole several curious glances at Roy, particularly at his outfit, and her mind was running with several different thoughts.

Even though Roy had never told her and Lily where his home was, and which Family he belonged to, there was a hint of Nobility about him.

He was very well-mannered, adhered to the etiquette, talked politely without any hint of disdain or arrogance, and his confidence was even better than those princes who studied here.

At first, she had not paid much attention to him. After all, she had never heard of his surname, Windson. It was neither a Noble family, nor a Wealthy family in Europe. That was for certain.

However, Roy carried a hint of Irish accent, and by his own admission, he grew up in Ireland.

This was also what confused her, and when her dearest and only friend started getting close to him, she had to take some measures against it.

She used her sources to check into the details of Roy's admission to the Academy, and she found out that it was not due to his excellent grades or genius.

He got the place on a recommendation, just like she and all the children of Nobility got recommended here.

Even his Programme was that of the Princes, the best offered and most expensive Programme at the Academy.

What was ridiculous was that he received a monthly allowance of a Million Euros in his Student Account every three months, which was three times more than what she received from her family.

After learning all these things, even if she wanted to advise her friend to not get close to Roy, she had no excuses left.

He was rich, and he was noble.

Now, having spent time with him, getting to know him as a person, she found herself desiring him as well.

At some point, she had started growing envious of her dearest friend for having such a boyfriend. And the reason why she did not go back home this Winter was so that she could grow closer to him and sort out her own feelings.

Roy was by far the most handsome boy in the entire Academy, and she had never met someone as handsome as him in her entire life.

There were always girls trying to talk to him, even the older ones, and just like her, who had checked into his details, other children of Nobility had done the same. This was why no one caused any trouble for him.

Even those arrogant brats could only exercise forbearance, fearing that they might cause problems for their families.

After all, the real reason why they all came to this Academy was to form relationships that would help them later in life. If it was only about education, then they could have just stayed at home and received the best of what the world had to offer.

"Olivia..."

Roy's repeated calls broke her out of her trance, and she embarrassedly lowered her head.

"I am sorry."

"It's fine." He smiled. "Just be careful."

The gentleness in his voice made her smile and she sweetly nodded her head.

"I can see now why Lily loves you so much." She playfully said, observing the slight blush that crept up on his face, making him look very cute.

"I am afraid I don't know what you mean by that."

"You do." She giggled, trying to pull his leg some more, but soon their attention was drawn to the group of students, who were gathered outside their Castle, brimming with excitement. "What's happening?"

Both of them were confused seeing all the students, who were staying at the campus this winter, gathered outside their Castle.

However, soon as they got close, they noticed two vehicles parked in the lot, which did not belong to anyone from the staff or student body.

These two cars were the Limited Editions of the latest Pagani SUVs, which were the most expensive luxury SUVs in the world.

Even the people of wealth could not get their hands on these two beauties as they were going to be produced in limited numbers, only a total of 36 cars.

What was even more eye-catching about these two luxury SUVs were their numbers, which read "Regalis 888" and "Regalis 999", and they bore the Insignia of the Kingdom of Italia.

Roy, who had been keeping up with the news, felt his heart skip a beat, and his eyes expectantly looked at the crowd at the gate.

And soon enough, he located a familiar face.

"Harud!" He excitedly called out, catching the attention of the boy, who was leaning against the Pillar, chatting with a few girls, charming them.

The Mir heard his friend's call and turned to look in his direction, breaking out into a bright smile.

Olivia surprisedly looked at her crush, who effortlessly jumped off his horse, and then rushed straight to the boy, hugging him like a long-lost brother.

"It's good to see you, mate!" Roy laughed, and Harud chuckled at his words, patting his back.

"It's good to see you too."

The two of them shared a hug for a few seconds, and when they finally separated, they shook their hands, grinning at each other, testing each other's strengths.

"Not bad."

"Thank you." Roy chuckled, and then heard the sound of heels hitting the cobblestone.

"Hey, hey, our little Roy has grown up a lot."

The Child of Destiny froze as he recognised the voice, and he immediately understood why so many students were gathered here.

Turning around, he brightly smiled at Alana, but then his smile froze as he saw the young girl who was standing next to the world's most famous musician.

For a moment, Roy's mind went blank, but then some tears brimmed in his eyes as he stared at his mother, who looked happier and more beautiful than he had ever remembered her to be.

"Mammy!" He lovingly called out to her before walking over to hug her, and Fiona happily hugged him back.

"How are you?" She asked after they seperated and she cupped his cheeks, managing to control her emotions, and Roy brightly smiled at her.

"I am fine, Mammy." He told her and then looked at the tall and muscular man, who was standing behind his Mother, looking quite handsome and alert.

He had never met this man before, but he could feel a sense of oppression from him. And by the look of things, he was here as a bodyguard.

"How strong is he?" He asked in his mind, and soon a voice answered him.

{He is at the Completion of Primal Desolation Realm, and the Realm Sealing Artifact that he is wearing is what is preventing him from leaving this world, Host.} The System answered, and then told him something that stunned him. {Your Mother, Alana, and Harud are also in the same stage as him.}

"What?" He nearly blurted out in surprise, but managed to compose himself.

"What's wrong?" Fiona curiously asked as she watched her son sneaking curious glances at them.

"Maybe he is worried about introducing his girlfriend to you." Alana teased, giggling a little, and Roy felt his ears warming up.

"Nothing, Mammy. I am just happy to see you."

Whilst they caught up with each other, the students around them were simply stunned as they looked at Roy and Fiona.

How could a girl who seemed to be only in her early twenties be his mother?!

Yes, they shared several similar features, but couldn't she be his older sister?!

And Roy was familiar with Alana Storm?!

So many questions ran through their minds, each fueling their curiosity even more, but they never got their answers.

Roy led Alana, Fiona, Harud, Olivia, and the tall bodyguard inside the Castle, and the students whose residences were not here, were refused the entry by the Gate Keepers.
