If there were any Transcendents present who controlled the laws related to the Mind and could traverse the Subconscious Ocean, they would see Aske's Mind Body, surrounded by a mass of bizarre objects.
Shattered rifles, broken swords, bent flags, and various kinds of incomplete flesh—arms, shins, waists, and skulls; many heads still bore expressions of anger, sorrow, fear, and despair, slowly rotating around Aske like whirlpools in the sea, wailing and cursing.

He who sheds the blood of man shall have his blood shed by man. Only after he used his own death to pacify the spirits of the dead warriors would the War Flesh be completely purified and then form the flesh and a new body on which he relied for resurrection.
