Bai Lan didn't pay any more attention to Lin Lin. She knocked on the door and then gently pushed it open.
Zhou Shengting had been on the phone. Hearing the knock, he turned his head and then saw a sexy silhouette walk in.
Zhou Shengting frowned, thinking it must be one of the employees. As she approached, he focused his gaze and realized—wasn't this his own wife, Bai Lan?
Zhou Shengting was so stunned he froze with the phone in hand. He didn't pay any real attention to whatever the person on the other end was saying.
Watching Bai Lan step closer, he lost all interest in continuing the conversation, so he hurriedly hung up the call.
Bai Lan came up to him with a hint of shyness on her face and asked, "Are you busy? Did I disturb you?"
"Not at all," Zhou Shengting said, reaching out his hand to Bai Lan.
Bai Lan was somewhat puzzled but extended her hand nonetheless.
Zhou Shengting grabbed her hand and then pulled her into his embrace.
