Caroline Edwin set down the pregnancy test in her hand.
She gazed at the screen at Blake Fuller, his expression a complex mix of anxiety and joy, and a crisp, light laugh spilled from her throat.
She detailedly answered his question, "I just found out I'm pregnant. My body is quite well, my morning sickness isn't too apparent right now, and I sleep well at night. The only trouble the little mite is causing is making me unable to eat a lot of delicious food."
Blake Fuller's heart, which had been hanging high, finally settled.
Sweat actually appeared on his forehead, despite facing the most complex surgeries, he had never been this nervous.
"That's good."
His gaze was tender and affectionate.
Blake smiled, "Don't worry, once the baby is born, you'll be able to make up for all the delicacies you couldn't eat during this period."
