All in all, Jack's ascendance caused scandals on a universal scale, almost triggering a massive war. The war had also been delayed due to a different phenomenon in the very same ascendance, yet none of it was actually caused due to Jack himself.
The night sky and stars were linked to the curse plaguing the fairies. The disturbance in the night was caused by the Challenge realm, and his proclamation was caused by interference from Bob - Bob who had somehow affected matters far, far beyond his power level.
