I looked around the walls of the nursery. Rion and I had the walls painted a pale blue color. I had wanted something calming and comforting, mostly for the girls but for me as well.
A few weeks have passed since the wedding. We spent those weeks in marital bliss, Rion and I just enjoying one another. We took just a couple of days to celebrate our union alone, wandering our lands on horseback, falling asleep under the stars, and going swimming. It had been an amazing couple of days.
After returning, life was busy as we continued adjusting to parenthood while leading our pack, but we fell into a routine after a couple of weeks. Rion was continuing his fortification efforts as well as improving many of the buildings in Thorn Forest. I spent a lot of my day with the girls but would leave in order to help with the children at the academy as well.
