Only upon plunging underwater did Chu Mu realize that the part of the Coral Reef Island exposed above the water surface was but a tiny fraction; beneath the water, this island turned out to be a colossal entity.
It had countless coral caverns that one could weave through and connect, large and small, intricate and convoluted, plunging into them felt like falling into a labyrinth.
The waters here had peculiar undercurrents, often even without purposeful swimming, you would gradually be brought to a certain place. Of course, these currents were gentle, serving as guides, they could speed up the advance of sea creatures, or the flow of the currents could be used to determine direction.
The underwater Coral Reef Island was partitioned into several layers, and the mermaid leading Chu Mu and Ning Man'er through the underwater caves inhabited by various sea races, arrived at the lower end of the entire Undersea City, or perhaps it should be described as the center of the city.
