Three days have passed since we started moving.
'We left the tower house a few days ago and now, we are already on our way to the lake… or so Big Brother was saying.'
Hmmm…
'Do you think there is something wrong with death?'
[ "With death?" ]
'With the death of the beings that are simply living their lives the way they live it.'
[ "Are you asking about their deaths? Or the deaths of the creatures that they kill, master?" ]
Pappy was right as well.
Is it right that the beasts kill one another but when it comes to us killing them, it is a bad thing?
He had a point, hmm.
'Right… life and death aren't that simple. It isn't in our hands. We can decide who gets to live or die when we have any authority to interfere with either of them.'
If you're strong, you get to do what you want to the weak… at least, that's what I heard some knights talking about back at home.
