The next morning, Huang San was inside the commander tent erected beside their field command base. An Guan and Lao Zen were there with him.
"How goes the unraveling effort?" Huang San asked.
"By tonight, we should open a hole big enough for five people to enter," An Guan answered.
"Only five?" Huang San asked. Disappointment was clear in his tone.
"The words of power engraved on the walls are too complex to be completely unraveled using such a pause-and-resume method. We can only do the unraveling at night under the cover of darkness, and we can't have too many experts performing the task.
