Undine slept quite well that night, so well she woke up quite early, feeling refreshed. Aquarina might be her wildest, strongest master so far, and also the only one that has helped her evolve to this point too.

Spirits cannot evolve on their own most of the time, unless they are born in special places, such as Spiritual Forests and are below the protection of stronger High or Divine Spirits.
Spirits, however, can only achieve their next step of their existence when they find "the right master" and the master help them evolve.
Indeed, spirits have a special relationship with mortals, without them, most of them cannot evolve or further increase their spiritual and magic powers.
