The sun is shining brightly today.
But it is no longer the warm sun of winter, but the daunting heat of summer.
Yet Yuri still hopes to bask in the sunlight, even though it no longer means comfort.
The scene outside the window has changed from the solemnity of winter to the vibrancy of summer, although greenery is still scant.
Yuri knows his days of being outside are approaching.
"Boss, the U.S. Military has completely withdrawn from Afghanistan; the Taliban Force is now taking over the areas left by the Americans, and the Government Forces are offering no resistance."
The intelligence officer was excited, thrilled, and then he asked Yuri, "Can we go out now?"
"No rush, the timing is not yet right; haste makes waste."
Yuri sat back down in his chair. He doesn't use the recliner much anymore, but he still spends more time lying down than sitting, and more time sitting than standing. As for physical activity, Yuri isn't considering that now.
