"Howl…" Anthony howled in agony as he took a nasty fall.

It all went dark before his eyes, pain throbbing at the back of his head, while Liam Yancey didn't stop his assault, his fists raining down like droplets of water, each punch meant to be lethal.
Just a few punches in, Anthony's face was beyond recognition, with blood streaming from his nose; new wounds compounded on old, leaving not a single spot of healthy skin on his face. It had all turned a dark purplish color, as if the bruising blood were about to spray out upon the slightest break in the skin.
